Over the years I also have tried many back packs Natalie I'm not able to carry much these days though due to heart problems that's why I now go for Fuji cameras light weight equipment try to get away with minimum carry but those bags look very good indeed I'm tending to really only do street photography at the moment carry one camera and a couple of lenses this time of year I put a large coat on many pockets it seems to do the job for me I use weather sealed cameras and lenses I wish you luck with your days out Enjoy.......
I can relate. If the backpack doesn't fit perfectly, it can get really annoying or even painful. And it is not trivial to test because it may take a while until it starts to hurt somewhere. I am using a cheap running backpack at the moment with just enough space for my camera, two additional lenses and a tiny tripod. Not ideal (no weather resistance), but haven't found a good enough replacement yet that feels as comfortable for long periods. The Vanguard does look very versatile. Looks like you could hide a whole house in there.
Hi Natalie, Would you please consider using your Fuji XS20 to make slow motion 240fps video of animals or birds or even people? I need an honest look at the XS20 because it does auto focus in 240fps slow motion.. Thank you and all the best..
The struggle is real. Genuine challenge to find a pack that fits and works. Well done..
Thanks

Pockets certainly help! I have a lovely small shoulder bag I use when traveling light, made by Domke! May do a mini review of that bag.
It as to be waterproof Natalie and enough for a few lenses and a camera and a writing pad for old lenses notes etc @@NatsWright
