I learned a long time ago never sell a gun 😆
Yep
Ditto
I don't want to be insulting. I am of the mind set of having what you need first. Before considering yourself an enthusiast or a collector. There's a system of firearms one should have. A precision bolt-action rifle, Shotgun, inter-mediate AR/AK or something on this platform that fits you, A Close Quarter Weapon/PDW/PCC, 5 pistols of your choosing (one being a revolver). Having these and training with them will give you readiness in the event of a man made or natural disaster. Where Buging in or out will have to be a consideration. You won't just have a lot of gun but guns you've trained with. You can't carry a collection with you.
Very good point and a topic for a separate video. This is just specific aspect and point of view.
Very fudd like it’s his preference
Great checklist
So just asking out of curiosity, but why does one really need a bolt action rifle, a shotgun, a pcc and 5 pistols? Tbh you will have everything you need with 1 good rifle, 1 good handgun. Anything beyond that is collection as far as im concerned.
I AGREE WITH YOU 💯 PERCENT
Great Video! Any collection should revolve around a basic range of items, but focus on what you personally enjoy; like your nice Berretta MX4 on the wall!
Thanks for your comment!
Good points all around! I have to admit this past year I have been quite the "flipper". Perhaps I need to do more research on some things before buying hah.
Lol, do you miss them after you flip them? If not, you’re good
Right on with #1. That is my main guide in upgrading my collection: If I find I'm not using it, it's subject to trade/sale toward something I do plan to use. If possible, I want it to go to someone who will use and appreciate it.
Agreed. Thanks.
Collectors come in all shapes and sizes. I know collectors that collect only tiny pocket guns... and even collectors that only collect the cheapest, poorest quality firearms and "Saturday Night Special" firearms. (Like Hi-Points or Jennings/Jimenez, or Raven Arms and Phoenix Arms). I know other people that collect only firearms that they can build themselves (and there's always many people to criticize them). I don't see a problem with what they do though. It is their right and for the most part they make safe, working firearms. Would give anything to have a collection you have though. One of the best I've seen for sure.
You got that right! Thanks for the comment!
guys that collect guns that would equate to collecting $3K junker cars..........thats fine but don't post that up on YT sharing it with the world and think anyone cares about your junk. the average gun enthusiast wants to see rare......cool.......EXPENSIVE.....big caliber.......little caliber.....different stuff. same as car enthusiasts want to NOT see your collection of early 2000s honda accords and toyota camrys. collect what you want, but understand sharing it on youtube is pointless other than people rolling their eyes at your "collection"
@@nocoolname32 that’s funny
@@nocoolname32 Many people like pocket guns and "saturday night special" guns. I do. Besides, nobody has to watch it. You watch what you like and not what you don't. That's how we all find the channels we like and the collectors that like the same things as ourselves.
@@deucedeuce1572 the stuff you named falls under the things I labeled as collectible. but pardon me if I don't understand someone showing off their 5 $400 Glocks.
Sweet collection. That #6 gun is very cool and the critic was wrong. That caliber is perfect for that gun. It may not be as plentiful as 9mm but not being the same old round is part of it's beauty, imo.
Thanks
You have an amazing collection! I can tell you are truly passionate about firearms.
I don’t sell anything lol. Have everything from a Japanese 6.5x50 Arasaka to a Colt M4A1 lol. I get whatever interests me, but I do love the older Military/ Western firearms. Oh and guess I’m an SKS collector lol. Have a 1951 Russian Tula, Yugoslav 59/66, Factory 26 Chinese and my favorite the paratrooper. So really you just get whatever you like. I do train regularly and it’s with my “Life depends on it and or SHTF weapons.” Take care and be safe!
Dude ppsh… dream gun I don’t understand people who want to change the caliber of a classic gun
A flat shooter.
Awesome advice…thanks for sharing…just connected…Salute!!!🍃🍃🍃
Great break down of what a "Collector" is. Great video.... im definitely inspired by your videos. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate that!
yessir. gotta support great content@@EasyBTactical
Very good video, I just start my collection a year and a half ago, so far now I got 8 fire arms, 1 Ar15, 1 Ak47 , 1 Ar frame 7.62x39 and 3 semi 2 revolvers, all base and my like choice or preferences, I do watch informative videos to learn what’s best and useful.
Good points, you forgot the most important habit not to do. Don't buy what you can't afford. I'm a bit guilty of this myself and I am sure a lot of collectors are.
Personally I collect AKs and a lot of what you described is pretty common in the AK community. There also seems to be a bit of lore surrounding the AK world too which is kind of annoying to be honest.
sir you have a impressive collection and just subscribed to your channel
8" .308, that has to be one bad ass kick! Nice collection sir, you spoke nothing but the truth... I got lots of grief from friends when I purchased my Tisas PX9 Gen 3(Springfield XDM clone)which is absolute joy to shoot! I own several firearms from FNs to M&Ps and a few rifles, as long as I like them I don't care what people have to say!
do you booboo! That's what I say. Thanks for your comment.
Put it this way. I collect all triggers 😂 but HI POINTS
Excellent video with very good points!
I was in the military and there we used what we practiced with the most. So I have all 22lr and 9mms…both in pistols and rifles. That’s what I’m going to war with.
Thanks for your service.
Great video and fantastic points all around. I just subscribed to the channel. Love our style, EasyB.
Im all over the map when it comes to collecting. In the last few years I've been collecting pocket pistols.
Lol, that’s ok too. I have one thing that can fit in my pocket
Hey, man!
I just subed’ to your channel. I like your transparency and realist approach!🙏🏻
Appreciate it. Check out my other videos
Im 21 I've gone thru probably 20 rifles and handguns and I sold em all now have one pistol one ar pistol I wanted to be a collector but it takes a lot to just keep em all when u could make ends meet so easily by selling em when u get behind on rent or a fine I wasn't trying to be a flipper but life sumtimes doesnt go as planned
Awesome video man, keep up the good work!
Thanks 🙏
I mostly look for the machine pistols. Calico, AP5m, Sites Spectre, Kriss Vector, Linda pistol, and those types. Also look for rough condition stuff needing restoration or work. Have guns from an old Stallard arms 9mm to a Python and many in between. I like them all. Built a few AK47's and 74. Some of my favorites are the Uzi Model A, Russian Tiger, 10.5" Smith 500 Magnum, Belgium High Power, and others. Like the cheap pistols like Sterlings and Ravens and other Sat. Night Specials. Have many modern pistols, but enjoy the old and odd stuff more. Rarely sell one unless have another in sights. Have a good amount of MILSURPS worldwide like Mausers and others. I like collecting them all. I don't hate any gun. They all have a reason for being made from necessity.
You named some of my favs… Sites Spectre, etc.. what’s à Linda pistol? I’d have to look that up. Agreed 100% with you.

@@EasyBTactical Ray Wilkenson designed it in the 60's. The soon to come weapons laws killed it for the most part. He designed a 9mm hand gun called the Linda, after one of his daughters. He made a carbine version of the Linda named the Sherry after another daughter. Made a 22lr auto loader named the Terry after another daughter, and made a 25acp auto loader named the Diana after his wife. Company changed hands and the new owner remade the carbine, but called it a Linda, when it should have been called a Terry. Hanibal Smith of The A-Team used a Linda pistol.
@@bigfootlivz Thanks a lot for sharing that. I looked it up. Very interesting. The Linda reminds me of a modified Stern or Sterling. Now you've started something.
Awesome video ➕️ great advice 👍
Thank you
I make a Habit of buying something every time or every other time i go to my favorite gun store even if its something small or cheap like gun oil
Is that a HK SP5 I see on the wall. Collectors don't buy those. Let me take it off your hands.
Lolz! 😅
I used to have a yugo type 56. I liked it alot. Got stilen though. 😢
Brother, you should watch "T" Electrik. He's a gun dealer with more guns than 'Rambo". He keeps all his guns locked up and secured so no body can steal them. Stay Safe.
Thanks, I'll check him out.
I agree and follow all those. We’d get along!
Is the Mspiredm3 related to the most powerful letter in the alphabet?
@@EasyBTactical No, has to do with BMW M3 and an old company name I had
had to sub after the very first gun. beautiful collection
Very good list. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
New sub out of your guns which one would you never sell.thank you for your great personality.
Great video presentation sir, Just curious what are you from. I have gotten away from trading, I am more specific in what am looking for these days. I also like to make sure my gun collection can be of use to me in the event that I have a problems. I am interested in starting a antique collection at some point in the future. I agree with you 100% on that first habit, use those guns, use them all as much as you can after all you cant take them with you when you depart this earth.
I’m guilty of being a flipper 😞
Great video
Thanks!
that norinco sks looks sweet ty forthe informative video
You bet
The Goofy guy criticizing your ppsh obviously has no idea that gun is originally chambered in that tokarev round 😂
Hello easy B , nice collection and some very good information!
Hey, thanks
Some very good points man. And very nice collection! 🙏🏽
Appreciate it!
Great list but you left one out…
Do NOT get your friends at the police department to write you T&E/demo letters so you can get cool guns that you otherwise couldn’t. Just ask LAV…😢
Ahhh... True True... I need NFA FA tools like you before I have to worry about that.
Ha I am fine, got 4 staccatos and 4 atlas, but they are all different models...
Noice!
4 Staccatos??!!! Saying they’re all different sounds like a coping mechanism. Just don’t fight it , you’re past being a collector, You are now an addict and need AA meeting like the rest of us. Btw, how do Staccatos shoot like?…Asking for a collector friend. 😂
When I was young I had an airsoft collection and now as a young adult I have a nice firearms collection. My dad may have kicked that off when he bought me a Mosin Nagant one Christmas when I was a teenager.
When I was in college I got my first semi auto rifle, I wanted an ak74. I ended up getting this Romanian AIM 74 kit build, I didn’t really know much about it at the time but it was only 800 bucks and all I wanted to spend at the time. (Possibly should’ve bought the Arsenal slr cause that was closer to the spec I wanted and they’re not available new anymore but that’s okay) That kicked me off as an AK collector.
After getting a couple AKs I decided I needed an AR to see what life was like on the other side. Bought a windham weaponry because I heard about how legendary the old bushmasters were out of that same factory some decades prior. Gotta say the AR is a nice rifle, the windham itself was very nice. That kicked off my AR collection. I joined a snob Facebook group, the AR market is hard with so many brands to consider, the snob group helped make sure I knew what was quality. May have influenced me to become a little bit of a snob myself (I became quite the LMT enthusiast) but I try not to pass that off on others. While collecting AKs, the factory it came out of matters, and I ended up applying that same logic to ARs searching for quality brands.
I own about 15 long guns total and 2 handguns. I think the most important aspect of collecting was one of the first things you said; buy the things you want/desire, don’t let someone else tell you what to buy. It’s okay to settle for something as long as what you settle for is still worth it to you.
Thanks for sharing your journey. I think I’d love an LMT
@@EasyBTactical I’ve got 3 complete rifles and 1 MARS ambi lower with an upper I built out. The monolithic uppers are super cool especially on the AR10 platform of theirs, lots a versatility to be able to pull out the barrel and switch to a new one that could be a different caliber entirely.
your right my brother agree
Those guns are nice I love collecting and I'm happy with what I have.. some of my favorite guns were kinda "budget" guns like PSA AR-15 rifles, the CZ P10C, Canik TP9SA, Ruger American 308, Mossberg maverick 88 12 gauge etc.. the Ruger started out as a budget rifle but it has the Magpul furniture now that makes it nicer and a really nice scope.. sometimes budget guns can be better than more expensive ones.. I have more expensive ones but that doesn't always equal better.. I enjoy them all that I own I don't have anything that I don't want.. I like collecting revolvers too
I might be guilty of being a critic sometimes but in my defense it's only the thugs that don't put sights on there guns that do dumb stuff or just bad guns that are not reliable that I tend to be a critic of lol if it works and you like it that's all that matters.. I'm not a big fan of 22 or 380 but I don't judge others for liking those calibers.. I know they have there place there just not for me lol
Well said and there’s nothing wrong with budget guns with some quality
I say there is an ok way to b a flipper AND still b a collector. Some people collect but also buy different guns just to try them out and experience them, then flip them so they can afford to experience even more variety.... if they happen to really really like 1 they keep it but always buying another so they can experience more. They are a collector but as a hobby they like to experience as many as they can but not paying full price for the next 1 bcuz they have sold 1 before the new purchase
Yup. Ive sold off alot of guns. Never ever regretted it. They didnt fit me. This actually helped me refine my collection and get it to where I wanted it. Alot of trial and error and impulse buys and im finally loving and utilizing quality firearms.
Yep, everyone can do whatever they want at the end of the day.
Buy what u like and afford
Yep
Niice content, hehe I just watch the “The Collector” channel😅
Cool, thanks
The worst habit of gun collectors is posting them on the Internet.!!!
Do you not know why?
Why?
@@EasyBTactical
Anything you put on the Internet is there forever and can be used against you.
ATF has showed up at many RUclipsrs homes with fatal consequences.
One RUclipsr was in bed with his pregnant wife when he was shot and killed through an open window. She was also hit but not fatal.
People that support the second amendment have been labeled as terrorist by the FBI.

I've got one. Don't own a dozen guns and have no ammo
Which one?
Luv your gear. Keep it up
Thanks, will do!
i dont think your a snob , but you are only following your passion
I think if you're flipping to something different like if you have a hi end handgun and want to get into long range but don't have the extra money to buy the setup flipping or trading is not a bad thing to get you where you want to be! 👍
I want to say his point was more about people who constantly flip their collection (maybe they’re hipsters who only follow the latest trend or the window-shopper who buys random things that they don’t really want/need etc.). Or worse, scalpers.
Selling one thing for another is relatively natural, especially to those who don’t have unlimited funds.
You’re both right! You can flip to upgrade as well
I agree that not using your guns can be the worst thing. Your gun can collect dust, rust by not using it, keeping in a safe. I might need some Cosmoline since I can’t afford to shoot often.
I think there is huge amount of elitism in the NFA, background checks, HK where they limit people. I think making rules on our rights has caused more damage than ever will be good from people becoming paranoid of their rights taken.
Thanks for the comment. Agreed with you.
A gun is a tool, use it !!!!! I have sold ,fired and enjoyed many..............and invested a lot , just in case I need money also !!
true true! Agreed
Torture test is the term I believe you're thinking of

lol
Ok bud let’s see your collection if you watched the video you’ll see he has some cool shit
Great video good luck on your channel.
A sub from me 👍
I can't believe this guy feels the need to define the word collector. And someone who buys and sells something be it guns, stamps, gold is never called a collector, they're a dealer, trader, merchant.
there's no such thing as bad habit of collecting lol
Lol
I own 8 guns total and I consider myself a "quality over quantity"/"buy once, cry once" collector. It's a small collection, but it's a sweet one. Although I've chosen to focus my collection on quality platforms and quality accessories, I absolutely appreciate different collections that other people have put together that focus on different priorities. Some people focus on having every Glock ever made. Some focus on Gucci Glocks and pistols only. I appreciate them all, even those with limited budgets, as I appreciate the effort itself. There's always someone out there who's got more expensive, more guns, nicer stuff, etc. My ego is not my friend and I don't think owning a ZEV makes me better than someone who owns a Glock. If I find myself comparing myself to others it says way more about my lacking a healthy self image than it does about what guns someone else chose to buy with the money they have. In fact, I'm more impressed by the guy with a Glock who can use it properly, hitting targets consistently, who's not an internet troll, than the guy who thinks he's cool with a Staccato who flags everyone at the range and walks around waving his barrel without trigger discipline. In other words, I'm more impressed by your shooting skills than your bank account. And I agree, guns are to be used and trained with for the tools that they are, than displayed behind glass, too afraid to use them because they might get scratched or dropped. I love sneakers as well, but I'm the sneaker collector who wear his shoes and who doesn't display them behind glass. That's why I'll pay $200 for high quality Air Yeezy 2 NRG Solar Red's that I'll wear until their blown out, and then throw them away, rather that spend 4k on an authentic pair that I'd never wear because they're too expensive to wear out. But guns are different, you can use them for decades and decades and as long as you store them properly and clean them after you use them, they only get better as they break in. With all that being said my small collection consists of:
1.HK MP5 22LR licensed by German manufacturer Umarex that I see on your wall
2.HK SP-5 WITH Trijicon MRO HD, Modlite PLHv2, and all B&T components, with a Surefire Ryder suppressor
3.Sig Sauer MCX Rattler 5.56mm, Aimpoint CompM5/Reptilia 1.91 mount with Trijicon RMR canted 45 degree optic, and a Surefire SOCOM 2 5.56 suppressor.
4.Sig Sauer XLp365 Spectre Comp, Holoson 507k X2, Surefire XSC weapon light
5.Sig Sauer P226 Pro Cut, Trijicon SRO, Surefire X300 Ultra
6.Glock 17 gen-5 with B&T USW conversion chassis, Aimpoint ACRO P-2
7.Shadow Systems MR920L Elite, Aimpoint ACRO P-2, Surefire X300 Ultra
8.ZEV Technologies modular OZ-9c Elite X-Grip, Surefire XC-2 light/laser, Trijicon SRO
As you can see a very limited "collection" that I curated after doing much research, taking my time selecting the optics and light solutions that best worked with my specific needs for each particular platform. I've seen collections much bigger and much nicer, but I also know I'm extremely blessed to have the collection that I do. I'm not a multimillionair by any stretch of the imagination and my collection is the result of making financial sacrifices in other areas of my life. I don't drink or smoke, don't waste money on drugs and sports cars, I drive a 2018 Honda Civic and cook my own meals. I live within a budget and within my means. And I don't beleive that my collection is better or more important than anyone else's collection. It's my collection and it's perfect for my specific tastes and specific needs considering where I live, and taking into account what threats I feel are most probable to threaten my life, taking into account many factors, all of which are different for everybody. Again, the most important thing is consistent training with a focus on good habits and shooting safety. As far as body armor is concerned my personal needs require a CRYE Precision JPC 2.0 light weight plate carrier that's easy to move around with, with a Haley Strategic flat pack molly'ed to the back for transporting small but important items, belt is a Haley Strategic D3 with an IFAK med kit, pouches for both rifle and pistols, and a Safariland 6354RDS Glock 17 multicam cordura that fits both my Shadow Systems and my ZEV, so long as I'm running a Surefire X300 on it as that light is what the holsters locking mechanism requires. Honestly my collection is as much a collection of specific pistols and rifles that I've always been drawn to, as much as they're each specific tools that play a specific role in the event that things go sideways and I need them all over an extended period of time, as much life saving devices all with specific purposes to counter an ever changing threat profile, from when that threat begins, to the day, month, or year that the threat is finally defeated. I try to keep 1000 rounds consistently stockpiled for each weapon, half being range ammunition and half being quality self defense ammunition. When I hit the range I take the oldest ammo and replace it that day. However, last winter when Winchester 5.56mm M855 Green Tip ammunition was on sale for the lowest I'd seen it since pre-pandemic prices, I stocked 2,000 rounds to add to the 1,200 I already had. In the event of an extended foreign invasion, where American citizens would find ourselves on the other end as the "insurgents" I figured that next to my 22lr for which I have approximately 10,000 rounds, having several thousand rounds of armor defeating 5.56mm would be a very good round to have in a SHTF scenario. I've stopped adding gun to my collection anf have been focusing on being well rounded, focusing on quality tactical clothing with Multicam being the best camouflage for the regional geographic area in which I live. I found a quality companywith military contracts called "Beyond Clothing" that is CRYE quality tactical gear, without the CRYE price points. I mean it's expensive full retail, but for example you can pick up an A5 Rig Soft Shell Jacket that normally costs about $600, on sale on those shopping apps (SHOP) app, for $199, and a CRYE quality Mission Shirt in Multicam that retail for $399, for $130 on sale. Prices I'd never pay at full retail but are a steal on sale. Basically my "collection" has become more of a lifestyle considering the political climate and geopolitical influences that have become rather concerning after the pandemic and riots of 2020. 2020 was the year that had me looking around my house with the stark reality that I felt completely unprepared and exposed in the event of a societal collapse, especially after seeing first hand that our government's not going to save us, nor is the safety and security of our friends and families anyone's responsibility but our own. Before 2020 I was a gun "owner". After 2020 I've become a gun and tactical gear..."Collector.". And my collection in addition to looking pretty when all my guns are hanging on my Tactical Walls display wall, are also practical tools that all serve a specific function for a specific occasion. Hopefully that occasion never comes and until it does, if at all, I'll continue to enjoy practicing for an occasion that I hope never comes.
That was one of the longest yet enjoyable comment I took time to read. Thank you for taking time to share. You have a nice collection. I dig B&T products. Training is where it’s at!
I ain’t reading all that
