Yes you're right, they start training very early and can be as early as 7yo or in their teenage years so they definitely don't have kids specially that korean culture is very strict and korean teenagers are less likely to get pregnant in a korean society and then they train for years and if they're lucky enough sign a contract to become idols with heavy schedule and the contracts could include things such as no dating for the first 5 years or some crazy shit so they tend to not have kids and many date in secret to avoid scandals

HIP is supposed to be unique. I am a huge fan of MAMAMOO, and when I heard this song, I wasn't really into it. But the more I heard it, read the lyrics, and saw the meaning of their visuals, it made sense. MAMAMOO has been a girl group that never wanted to fit in the "K-pop girl group" stereotype. All their songs and visual have meanings. In HIP, they are expressing all of the controversy that has surrounded them since the beginning. For example, Hwasa not being the "Korean Beauty Standard". But in many interviews (and even one concert), she shared her story and experience about it and said she was gonna keep doing her own thing no matter what the media and people think (which is a scene where she was president). The video also shows a lot of visuals where controversial ideas or moments are displayed and them saying that it is okay to be different (which most of their songs have the same message of self confidence and self love). The beat is also very different from any song in K-pop which is intended because again, they don't want to blend in K-pop and sound the same as everyone else. Mamamoo has so many different sounds as they tend to change genres often. Even this song sounds different than other songs on the same album. So I hope you give their other songs a chance even though they didn't 100% appeal to you. I suggest some of their older music like Starry NIght, Egotistic and Wind Flower to start. Most kpop idols join companies at young ages like early teens (13ish) and many debut around 17-19. The age varies as some are younger or some are older but generally they are very young, so there's not a chance that a kpop idol would have a kid before they debut. As for after they debut, groups usually have dating bans for the first few years so they can focus on the group, but once the dating ban is lifted "technically" they can date, they just hide it since some fans can be childish and show massive hate. Some idols have kids, but at that point they usually left the group, or are in the process of leaving, or they have been in the business for years so its not as bad. A group, Super Junior, the guys are in their 30's and some fans are still sending hate towards a member that got married.

I am talking about ACTIVE idols. and certainly there is no active Female idol who could ever promote as an idol again after having kids, they'd have to transition into a solo artist or an actress.
@@balqis_452b4 not really, there isn't a company in Korea where it is ok for an idol to have a baby. SM being an exception but that is only because he was sooooo popular, and he lost a ton of fans, his longevity as an idol has taken a severe hit. Any Female idol who gets preggers or married has to leave the group regardless of company, it just isn't there yet in SK society to have a mother promoting as an idol.
Mamamoo has so many different sounds as they tend to change genres often. Even this song sounds different than other songs on the same album. So I hope you give their other songs a chance even though they didn't 100% appeal to you. I suggest some of their older music like Starry NIght, Egotistic and Wind Flower to start. There is tons of rules and it all depends on the agency and how strict they are. Even dating is generally is frown upon although very few do allow it. So having a child is most likely will happen at end of their career if it does.

Most kpop idols join companies at young ages like early teens (13ish) and many debut around 17-19. The age varies as some are younger or some are older but generally they are very young, so there's not a chance that a kpop idol would have a kid before they debut. As for after they debut, groups usually have dating bans for the first few years so they can focus on the group, but once the dating ban is lifted "technically" they can date, they just hide it since some fans can be childish and show massive hate. Some idols have kids, but at that point they usually left the group, or are in the process of leaving, or they have been in the business for years so its not as bad. A group, Super Junior, the guys are in their 30's and some fans are still sending hate towards a member that got married.
