- Spring is early this year!
Making kokedama with spring bulbs is so much fun. You can use any small bulbs - crocus, Scilla, snowdrops, miniature daffodils and others.
You can use preserved moss if you don't have your own:

Have fun! Yuliya
Honestly, I’ve never seen a Witch Hazel at a garden center. Definitely underrated!
Love them, they look so pretty. Thank you for sharing how to make them 👏🤗🧑🌾🌿
So pretty thank you Yuliya ❄️💚🙃
Genius! You’re always so creative Yuliya. I’m envious of your snowdrops too. 😀
I have never heard of Kokedama before so I definitely learned something new from you today. Thank you , Yulia. The snow drops are adorable to look at this time of year , wish I had some
I've got 2 Witchazel's in my garden in Worcestershire, U.K. A yellow and orange.
Pretty Witch Hazel to see, as well as Snowdrops! Lovely creation made by you, to welcome Spring Life back to its cycle, to enjoy! Your ready for Easter!! 🐇🙌💗🌱
Wow! We bought an old house n property years ago and there were/are many bulbs that still bloom out in spring. Now I know what snow drops are! Thks. It’s April now…but I will divide and replant! Also Magic Fairy bulbs come up in the flower beds. Spider lilies in the Fall. Thks for your inspiration!

Hi I have a question about moving then into pots. I currently have several areas with snow drops around but will turn these areas into garden beds. I have sadly already lost a lot of them due to my husband being overly careless with some of the garden.. anyway, I don't have a safe place for them currently in my garden and wondered if they'd do well in long window pots till I possibly find a place that they won't be crushed by my children. Can anyone give advice!
Yuliya, those are so lovely. I’m amazed at how resilient the snowdrops are; I expected them to wilt severely. I once made an orchid kokedama; I had no idea you could make one with bulbs dug from the garden! In the Fall of 2021, I planted some snow drops, the very first for my garden but nothing came up in the Spring of 2022. This year, I am seeing some green shoots coming up so I am very hopeful I will have blooms soon. 🤞🏻 I have lots of moss but it is interspersed with lots of weeds, mainly ground ivy. 😠 Boy, do I hate that stuff!!! 🤨 Maybe I will have enough snowdrops in a few years to give this a try. Thank you for sharing this unusual DIY. 💚
So beautiful 🤩 helps to have your own moss farm 😂
Snowdrops bloom this time of year for me in zone 6. Didn’t realize it was early as I associate them with winter…ish. Maybe not? 🤷♀️ Also I’m pretty sure different types can bloom at different times. Or so I’ve heard. Mine grew ok from bulbs, but it will take years for them to fill in and form clumps.
Yulia, it's too early here in zone 5a ❄☃to do that yet, but I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing! ~Margie🤗💕🪴
Hi Yulia! You are doing amazing job! I like your videos, that are very informative. This year we practically did not have a snow and now in the middle of February all daffodils grew up too early. I tried to cover them with mulch but it does not help. They are growing too fast. I believe that night frosts are still ahead. What is your advice to save grown daffodils? Thank you!
I wish I had some snowdrops growing in my yard right now. I wanna try this. I'm so envious that your area is warming already and of all that glorious moss you have growing! Lovely. Thanks for this new, fun project!
Very pretty! Thanks for showing how to divide snowdrops! I have some where I can't see them and would like to move them. The witch hazel is amazing, you can show that every year!
I seen kokedama some yrs ago on gardeners world, thanks for the reminder. I have purple crocus blooming in the yard now, my mom planted many yrs ago. Think I'll make some for my daughter, she can plant them in her yard.
You’ve inspired me to try my hand at kokedama. I have so much moss growing under the greenhouse benches.
Ever since I saw you harvest moss from your "moss farm" making the moss balls, I see moss farms everywhere!! 😳😃
I've seen these before but didn't realize they have a name. They're beautiful 😍. I love witch hazel too
Love this. Thanks for sharing. I think muscari would look good too.
First signs of Spring, love it !!!😁 Saw my crocus out front for first time today , yay !!!
What a cute idea 😀
Thank you! I look forward to trying this. So charming.
Your soil looks wonderful! So easy to dig! I'll check your video list to see if you have one focusing on soil 🙂
Inspiring! Thank you. Mine are only 2 years old but on their way.
So pretty great job you always do such nice arrangements
Live you learning to do things videos,
Thank you!!
I’ve been wanting to make one of these for years and just never get around to it.
I think I have these growing in my yard and didn’t realize they wasn’t weeds
That is so cool! Thank you for sharing/showing how to make them!
You are very talented...beautiful arrangement!
Very beautiful, thank you for this.
How lovely ! And, I have so much moss right now outside ...and I needed a new project. One could do Kokedama with Lilies of the Valley . And, I loved how you said SPRING has arrived early. ( I am in zone 6 as well ! ) Thank you Yuliya for inspiring us all ! 🥀🥀🥀

Excellent job 👍
These are gorgeous!!!!
Could you do kokedama with daffodils?
Yes, the little ones 😊
So beautiful! I’ve seen this done with amaryllis. I’m inspired to give this method a try.
I love this. Have made kokadamas around orchids but really like spring bulb idea. I don't have many snowdrops but have lots of miniature daffodils, grape and wood hyacinths so am going to give it a try. Your witch hazel is gorgeous.
I had never heard of these before - will definitely be trying this for Easter! Even though we have had a mild winter so far (Zone 6, Eastern Canada), we were just hit with a Valentines Day snow dump of 15/20 cm !! Happy Galentines Day ❤️ !
I love your RUclips channel! Your very down to earth and easy to relate to in my own garden. Thank you for all the knowledge and creativity that you share. I really like these flower arranging projects you do 💝
Love the snowdrops! I also plant them under my Acer together with cyclamen coum and Eranthis they make a lovely pairing for early spring color 😁
I love making these. I soak mine once a week, let them drain and place on the coffee table. They are so beautiful! I learned about these years ago in Lima, Peru.
Those turned out super cute. 😍
