duo with one of my favorite gp creators! go sub to her rtfn ‪@itlunaa‬
this is team Nine Worlds' entry for GDLT 2024's round of 16. lunaa and i had a lovely time working on this and i'm super satisfied with what we cooked up, especially considering the time limit, since we both tend to prefer taking our time to perfect all the details in our stuff, but didn't have much room for that given the deadline and competition setting.
this round got me out of my comfort zone, and in the future yall can expect to see more conceptual stuff in my gp since i've gotten over my phobia of it. arrow triggers are jank, but i daresay i'm up for the challenge. anyways!

@@theliteralocean here are some important things to know:
- practice makes perfect! believe in yourself and don't give up, no matter what!
- use songs not only that you enjoy but that you think would make for interesting gameplay!
- look at your favorite work for inspiration! study it closely! pay attention to how it interprets specific sounds, beats, and note patterns!
- show your work to somebody and ask them for feedback! doesn't need to be another gameplay creator, just a good player! make sure they're okay with giving you feedback when you need it! make it your goal to wow them every time you build, but don't get discouraged if you can't always do that!
- good gameplay takes time! playtest your work TONS until it's as fun and clean as you can possibly make it!
- one more time, practice makes perfect! practice, practice, practice! you'll do things beyond your wildest dreams if you just keep trying, no matter how long it takes!!!
