    Ok prime example of how you solved a major problem for me when I saw Mike valley and he would teach how to do this he always said the phrase. LOOSE TO TIGHT ! And I never knew what that meant until now how you started loose with the red then got tighter with the orange and finally tightest with the yellow how you filled the inside of the red with orange and the inside of the orange with the yellow now I finally understand after a year of frustration of the phrase LOOSE TO TIGHT ! Thank you seriously from the bottom of my heart for showing and telling me how to start loose and bring it in tight because when I would lay down orange I’d go outside the red and it looked stupid and I’d get pissed and quit but now I know how to do it right ! Brother you just saved me an aneurism!!

    Nice work Jake. For someone to do a vid on real fire and starts off saying I'm not very good at this in my opinion is brave so hats off to you as it turned out looking so good Mate and you didn't mention using bleed checker did you not use it for this or does the 4050 mixed with the candy stop the bleeding.. Oh yeah I forgot to ask did you get any work from the car show in your last vid when you had your own booth set up Mate..

    • @BrusHstroKeZ
      @BrusHstroKeZ  3 года назад +1

      ThankZ man! 4050 does help to reduce bleeding. I just made sure not to pound the white on, otherwise there could be some bleeding. And bleeding with true fire isn’t really an issue, since it will just give u similar tones and maybe even more depth and color range. Car show was a bust. Maybe had 10 people stop by, no real potential customers. Was raining the whole time, and poring out most of it. I was also in a bad location, end of it where most people didn’t even make it down to. My 2 showZ next week look to have great weather. Good thing because my work is done to be in the sun. Will do another true fire vid. I’ve done 4 more cupZ after this one and learned a lot and getting decent at it now.

    I don't know how well you take criticism and it doesn't really matter to me, but what you have just shown is how to airbrush realistic flames inside-out. The theory of starting loose and ending tight is correct, but you sprayed the colors in reverse of the way they should be laid down. Its always light to dark. Not light, dark to light. The last color before the highlights should be the darkest color and then add highlights at the end. If youve been unable to figure out why your flames dont look right then now you have your answer. Youll be surprised how good the flames will look when done correctly. I hope that you use my advice and begin creating amazing realistic fire. By the way... Mike Lavalle was the undisputed king of True Fire. Watch the way he works and build up from that. Also, Craig Frazier is very good at this as well. Check out some of his videos. Side note: Theres no such thing as opaque candies. All candies are transparent.

    • @BrusHstroKeZ
      @BrusHstroKeZ  2 месяца назад

      @@ArcAngel572nc I’ve bought all Mike’s videos and watched many times and know Craig and watched most of his videos as well. I’d love for u to find and share any video of someone painting true fire light to dark. That is completely backwards🤦🏻‍♂️ I never said candies r opaque. I said u can use opaque colors if u don’t have candy. U obviously have not watched any of my other videoZ. I clearly know what I’m doing with candies. They’re my favorite thing to spray and I’d say I’m pretty good at it. Sorry but won’t be taking ur backwards advice. This video is quite old and was learning to do true fire. I’m much better now. Sure there is more recent fire in my Shorts videos. I’ve traveled the country to train with the best of the best the last 3yrs or so. And know where I stand. Even got selected to be one of 100 artists internationally to be in the Battle of the Boards. But would really love for u to post a link to a video of ANYONE painting true fire light colorZ to dark colorZ!!!

    Looks amazing I have a question if I wanted to add some candy blue into the flame What colors would I add in between?

    • @BrusHstroKeZ
      @BrusHstroKeZ  Год назад +2

      U can do this with any color. I start with the darkest tone of that color, and work my way to the lightest of that tone. Blues for example with Createx Candy2o, I would start with Midnight Blue(red step), Marine Blue(orange), then Caribe Blue(yellow) for the final. I’ll be doing some varied color flames soon and will do more vidZ on them showing how I do them.

      I just used the new formula of Wicked Jet Black with a little 4011 reducer, no 4050. The new Wicked formula has some of the 4050 resin in it already so no need to add any to it. Then I painted directly on that without adding/using any 4050. Only used 4050 with the candies.

      On white, u definitely want to put down black first. I would but the black down to look like smoke, then do the flameZ inside the smoke/black area. If ur using candy, you’ll want to make sure to be precise with the candy and only spray the flames. U don’t want candy on the white area.

Trying trufire I cursed Mike valley so many times his ears had to be burning but you explained it so awesomely and simplistic you say your not that good with tru fire I think your better than Mike see Mike wants you to buy his $200 Cd set them he’ll show you how to do trufire and even then he doesn’t explain it or doesn’t share is trade secrets to make the fire twirl like yours but you showed me how to make it move through and this summer I’m invited to the LA LOWRIDER MAGAZINE CONVENTION and I will be using your technique for any client I do with trufire and I will give you credit for your instructions and give your channel the credit so if that’s cool ? I already have 2 canvas orders for Chicano women with the clown faces and a flaming skull so I’ll be doing your technique for my entry and also I’ll be entered into the sparmax international airbrush contest and I’m doing the selection of fantasy stylization and I’ll be doing the grim reaper with trufire your technique so thank you for all your help YOU ROCK 🤘🏻🤘🏻!!
