  • This is the deck that is making waves in Pioneer tournaments in recent months. I have some of my own additions to the deck including protection spells at the cost of a few more counterspells.
Pioneer is on its way to being a legal format in MTG Arena, so the preparations for that have begun!!
Decklist is in this description as well as over at Aetherhub.com.
    Cheers!!

My bad for the double post. Just finished watching the entire video today. This deck is really good. I like that its only 1 color. makes it way cheaper than Azorius (rare dual lands ftl). This is also really cool since it can operate with 2-3 mana the entire game. Once i gather a few more WC i'll craft this one. thanks!

Yeah, the mana base is really cheap! And it wouldn't be too crazy to cut a land from it (but that is always how I get into trouble).

And I am never worried about double posts, lol.

I'm hype. Love explorer. Can't wait for it to turn into pioneer. I just had enough WC to make a Creativity deck and a Green Devotion deck. my goodness both are kind of OP.

can this deck beat the monogreen Karn deck?

Usually... Karn doesn't resolve if you counter it. Therefor no Karn.

Which is better this deck or azorious?

Are you talking about amorous artifacts? The one I did for historic?

Mono blue spirits or the blue/white version.

In my opinion... it is kind of a tough call. They both have great interaction with the field, and both have a lot of air power. I would say that Azorius is much more modable which makes it more diverse. And Tocasia's Welcome is a fantastic card that helps you draw a lot more effectively if you can afford to cast it while holding up counters.
On the other hand, mono blue is easier to cast and you never have mana problems... unless you do (of course!!). As always, mono blue has fantastic counters that could either be really good, or really bad... depending on the matchup.
It is kind of up in the air, but the Azorius build is probably a little more stable, though the mono blue version is going nuts in competitive alongside the Azorius one.
Really tough question. I hope this helps?

@@coffeestout It helps! Thank you. I think I should build the mono version though since it is cheaper on the wildcards. Then, if I love the deck, go into azorious.

Not a bad way to think about it! Just a warning. This deck is a bit hard to navigate.
