I’ve been waiting for “Not Great, Bob!” since i found out you were watching Mad Men 😂😂
Fun fact for that: Pete’s actor said he and his wife will use that phrase around the house. “Hon, how’s the veggies?” “Not Great, Bob!”

Bob always made me uncomfortable. From day one, it felt like he wasn't who he was pretending to be.

I feel like these two would probably lose their money to an African prince LOL

He did me at first, I thought maybe he'd turn out to be psycho, but I think it turns out he really is just a gay dude from a servile background who maybe read too much Dale Carnegie type stuff. (Does the younger generation even know who that is? I can explain it if need be. Also I don't think that's a spoiler as it pretty much describes how he comes across by this episode.)

If Bob DOESN’T make you suspicious, you’re not paying attention.
“WHY are you always down here?! Go back upstairs!!”

Loved the Hershey's scene in the boardroom, when he finally seems to accept his childhood. He's coming full circle in season 6. Happy for this guy!💯

As long as Don is still a partner, he would be owed any profit shares that go to the other partners, if there are any. Of course the other partners could vote to not pay out profits to try to encourage Don to resign. This isn't a spoiler because I honestly don't remember.

Bob’s been creepy from the get go! But he did lead us to one of the greatest one liners in the show ‘NOT GREAT BOB!’

I absolutely LOVE this episode for soooo many reasons.
"Not great, Bob!" is possibly the most iconic line from the entire show. Some really great Pete moments in this one!! Although I have to say, I feel like you guys are giving Bob a hard pass considering he is the one who put a murderer into Pete's mother's life hahaha.
That Hershey meeting... I just love that Don picks one of the most important business moments in the show to show some openness and honesty. Nice idea, TERRIBLE timing and execution. The fallout is shocking but boy has Don been falling to rock bottom for a long long long time.
That final scene with Don and his kids outside the house he grew up in...another one of my favourite moments from the whole show. The look Sally gives him is just so much curiosity, confusion, she has sooooo many questions. There are a couple of really great moments between Don and Sally coming up in Season 7!

Wife here. Not great Bob hysterical! Don finally telling his truth too bad wrong moment and wrong people . If you recall Sally said recently I don’t know you or something to that effect and poor Bobby are we negroes ? Don finally shows a piece of himself to the kids and with a perfect song choice and the look between Sally and Don . I really see you now . Gives you a lump in your throat.

Also always liked Ted until he makes all kinds of promises and sleeps with Peggy and then dumps her.

You might be well past this on Patreon by now, but it's worth mentioning: More than the other shows that did two-part final seasons (The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc.), Mad Men's "final season" really is two separate (shorter) seasons. They aired over a year apart. They have different thematic concerns. They take place in different years.
I think you'll appreciate and enjoy this final stretch more if you approach episodes 1-7 and episodes 8-14 as separate seasons. (They're both great, by the way!)

I think he can just be like a silent partner and wouldn't get his wage as head of creative but would probably still get a regular income as his share in the profit the business makes. If the partners need to make big business decisions I guess they'd still have to consult him though. Like you saod, they can't fully "fire" him from the business since he's a partner wothout buying him out, but they can fire him from working there.

Since you started Season 6 this is one I was most looking forward too. Kind of wish you showed more of his breakdown/speech but they might guard that a bit more or maybe there's monentization issues?

I think maybe because he discusses prostitutes? RUclips might not likey.
