Untold Stories Special Presentation: 2014-2020

Highlights of the past seven years of the groundbreaking forum: Untold Stories: Growing Up in Ashland/Hanover Virginia - Black and White Experiences. Listen to the disparate tales of life during the segregated 40s, 50s and 60s in a central Virginia community. These oral histories can be poignant, funny, disturbing and inspiring. The program is hosted each year by the Hanover Arts and Activities Center, the Ashland Museum, the Hanover County Black Heritage Society, and the Downtown Ashland Association. These stories are quickly fading out of memory, so please capture your own family's experiences and share them with the Ashland Museum and the Randolph-Macon College library.
