@@XionProductions Totally agree with you. Wong Fu has some pretty great short films, this was not one of them. Seems like they literally used a standard form "Hallmark movie plot point check list" during production. And I do not mean that in a good way at all.

that ending made me cry once again..the one that got away😭 people come into our lives to teach us lessons and even tho it may seem bad at the time..like getting to know someone and then getting rejected by them, or feeling like you've connected with someone so well that they have to leave...there's a reason and lesson for all the ache😭❤

I was not expecting the elf. I was not expecting the plot twist. I’m sad they didn’t work out, but I appreciated how it was relatable because life doesn’t always work out the way you expect it to. Thank you for this production - it was beautiful. 💝❤️😭

Why did it take me so long to realize that Elliot, whose an elf that can fix/repair things, fixed Lisa's heart. Smh, it only took rewatching this a few times to figure it out.

Loved the pacing of this short film! Both of the leads’ acting felt natural. The narration wasn’t annoying or cheesy too.
Damn it, like always Wong Fu's endings are the best. They are unexpected yet dont leave me hanging always the perfect and beautiful ending. Love you Wong Fu thanks for doing what you do and helping me get through so many stages in my life. Been a fan for over 10 years. Love you Wong Fu 💙
I am about the same as you but so opposite. Been a fan for years, probably about 10 as well, but this was awful to me. I want the beautiful perfect ending. That's why I watch movies and such. Life is crappy, not always, but you know what I mean. I get enough crap in life that when I watch something I want the happy ending. You said that Wong Fu has gotten you through so many stages in life. Yet I feel like Wong Fu hasn't grown up at all. All their stuff is about dating, and failed relationships, etc. Crappy endings. They give no hope to the future. I'm married, I have kids, life is so much more than these videos they make. I say all this to show how different two perspectives can be. I've grown a little disenchanted honestly with Wong Fu. I was really hoping this short was going to be the one that had the happy ending for once, but no, it's the same old thing. I suppose these are for someone, you seem to enjoy them, but I think they are stuck in a rut and the tragedies are becoming predictable now. I'll still watch, if only to hold out hope that someday they will give me a happy ending. A heartwarming happy ending.

To me, the elf in this short story represents someone who passed away and the snow is representing a certain moment of memory with a love one who has passed away. You remember about them and that special moment with that special someone but then you know you have to move on. Too dark for the holiday?

What comes after is not to be compared with the moment itself. This is what it felt like. Also I just love love love the name "Handle With Care". In a sense he was never meant to be with her. He was just there to mend her heart and to give her the courage to move on. Some people were just meant to do that. Nothing less, nothing more.

Thank you for producing this short and thinking of the plot and everything because somehow I have been having something similar in life as well and thanks for bringing the narration to life and know that I am not the only one who's gonna think of someone like this in life. And some people can be that one to change sth so important later in life and also not leave too much hurt in me.
There are lots of definitions of the word gentleman. For me, what Elliot does at 11.36 encapsulates it. Being gentle can be the greatest show of strength :)

Phil and Wes visited my school a year or so ago and it was so great being able to meet two of the great minds behind WongFu. I even got a hug from Phil :,) I’m so happy that this channel still is putting out content that makes me cry and think about things different, even 8 years later.
