Walter Gretzky boy. What a great human being. I remember meeting him in the mid 90’s in Brantford. We played in the Walter Gretzky tournament. That man made a point of showing up to each an every game, greeting parents greeting kids. We’re talking A level hockey here. 25 years later I took my stepson to Walters tournament and sure as shit that old fella was there greeting these young kids and their families. What a fucking Canadian treasure.

The problem was that L.A was in playoffs but as you all know when make a wish happens for you you are not to far off death's doorstep. Well Wayne took an overnight flight went to a brunch and spent the whole day playing hockey with my buddies son and all of his friends. Wayne got made at gis publicist when she was pressuring him to leave. His response was legendary. Just a beautiful memory about the true legend Walter Gretzky, I used to work at the McDonald's Wayne was talking about and Walter would not only stop in at least twice a day to pick up breakfast and food then drive to distribute the food to people, he would often stay for hours and sign autographs and take picture with people who were stopping in from all over Ontario for hockey tournaments and he LOVED to sing for the employees and regulars. Just a beautiful soul ❤️ That man, is loved by all of Canada 🇨🇦 THANK YOU THEO
