REALLY LOVE seeing the old guys from the USHRA pulling days like Freddie Powell and Mr. Diamond T. REALLY LOVE seeing orange blossom special back as well
Man this brings back some memories haven't seen a lot of these trucks running in a long time by valley Shaker, KY Bow-Tie Orange Blossom Special thank you so much
Orange blossom special is the original pulling vehicle from the 80's and it's still going strong over 30 plus years in America altogether there that's awesome
Wish I could sit in there and listen to this all day everyday. We dont get much if any indoor sled pulls here in MI anymore. Back in the day at the silverdome trucks pulls were amazing as it was originally built with motorsports in mind. Big infield.
Nothing screams merica more than gallons to the mile, pulling heavy things, loud noises, and pretty much bombs indoors (if one catches fire and explodes of course)
Just a guess, but I imagine they're at pro mod drag car levels, 2-3,000hp. Because of the pulling application, perhaps built targeting more displacement and torque production.
I know from a few Deere diesel tractor builds they were using the 8.1L 6.7 block that stock ranges in the 180 hp range. After they're fully built they were running approximately 1500 hp and around 2400 ft lbs of torque. He said he runs 7 psi from the turbo and with the water injection he said it was the sweet spot . I'm sure those turbos are built for more than twice that psi but depending what means of injection they go will of course directly affect the tune. I'm not fully versed on diesel settups with water/propane injection but the information came straight from someone who does.
Oliver Robey I’m not familiar with their rules, but not one truck had a cage, only tractors. I’m sure he was following the rules otherwise he wouldn’t have pulled.
24:50 couldve totally been prevented had she lifted when she saw fuel spraying all over her windshield. But instead a perfectly intact power plant doused in fire extinguisher smh
Oliver Bentley working Friday now, it maybe ready by Saturday just depends editing and uploading takes time. Saturday’s definitely will not be ready this week.
@@brianspangler3771 can they dyno this on engine dynos? I haven't ever seen one of these strapped to anything like that especially the torque I could see them destroying a dyno
@@1-Six-dee They can but most engine dynoes use a water supply to stay cool during passes and unfortunately can not handle more than 2 hits by the higher horsepower engines before the water supply starts to overheat.
I'd try to use one of the the pro stock tractors to pull my 30' disks but I don't know how efficient the job would be at 50 mph bit. Definitely worth the try for sure.
I've been watching truck pulling for over 40 years...never saw a pulling van...pretty awesome
There was a couple of vans back in the 80s that pulled on the red Man TNT Pulling series. One was out of Florida I remember had a gator on the side
Lot of power........ LOT of money......... Those modified truck engines are works of art.
Johnny Holland most definitely! Thanks for watching and commenting!

How many horses are they making???
Is it somewhere in the range of 1500-2000
Not sure they pull every one they can to their class limits.

How is that model T allowed to run with no safety equipment no roll cage nothing

i can never find videos of these being built...i want to know whats under the skin
yeah unfortanatley this isnt a popular sport i can barley find engine info anywhere
Can you do the Friday and Saturday by the end of the week?
Oliver Bentley working Friday now, it maybe ready by Saturday just depends editing and uploading takes time. Saturday’s definitely will not be ready this week.
Thanks for letting me know.👍
Oliver Bentley no prob sir.
What type of engine management do these vehicles have? And Also how do u tune these without a dyno?
The classes with the blown alcohol engines use mechanical fuel injection and tune them using data loggers. Dont know about the diesel tractors.
