I have always struggled with depression but after yet another slap in the face with my family I went through the hardest 3 years of my life. I’m just starting to get back on top of my hygiene and being able to care for myself in general. People don’t understand Britney unless they’ve been through the same type of trauma. She is trapped in the age she was severely traumatized at!😫 I really hope Britney not only heals but thrives and I hope she can eventually have a happy, healthy relationship with someone she really loves and trusts and vice versa. I love how Britney's apology to Alexa is so genuine and heartfelt. This is what celebrities miss when they apologize online and have their manager or even AI write their apology. And they do that because they aren't really sorry. Britney is honest about the situation and it's just like a friend apologizing to you.
So few people in Hollywood seem to have the genuine ability to feel remorse, guilt, regret, empathy, etc. Britney definitely does and that’s why she’s so special. There’s such an emotional depth to her.

Lithium is a seizure medication as well. It essentially levels out brain waves. This means you dont get extreme bads, but you also lose most good feelings along with it. To have Britney on it against her will is like forcing the light out of someones daily experience. I feel so bad for her Quick edit for those commenting here: I said for seizures "as well." I was implying that it works on the same mechanism, for both mood stabilizing and seizure prevention by keeping the brain in the middle with no highs or lows. It can literally decrease the ceiling for good feelings. I'm just expressing why it's so unethical
Lithium is used to treat bipolar disorders as well now !!! Never heard of it used as a seizure medication but if you’re not really bipolar then it will make you act out
Lithium is not used for epilepsy or non epileptic seizures. It not an anti seizure medication but a antimanic class psychiatric med for bipolar disorder, it a very strong mood stabilizing medication that is intended to reduce manic episodes and also depressive episodes. If given to a patient who is misdiagnosed bipolar but the correct diagnosis is ptsd (this is what I believe she is working through now) well that medication would harm not help. Especially if the person is still experiencing trauma at the time. Very sad, my heart and prayers go to Brit. She is a sweet good soul and she just needs to heal. ❤️🙏🏼❤️✨

I still remember the first time I watched "Britney: for the record", and she was there, trying to analyse herself, her situation, the cards she had in hand, and how that posture standed out to me; she had every reason at that point, and even a little allowance from public perception, in the moment of that documentary, to go ahead and complain a little; but instead she was trying to power through what she was trying to rationalize as being consequences to her own acts. She is nothing like the rest of her family, and honestly, I think that's her biggest blessing in life!

Just the part about her announcing her book and the BB song lyrics are there? 😞 Britney's situation triggers me because of my own traumatizing childhood-early adulthood, and I'm happy she's fighting back. Even though I’ve recovered, the panic attacks which were a side effect from quetiapine still occasionally resurface. But lithium? That stuff is rough, it’s no wonder Britney isn’t herself. Normally memoirs annoy me (looking at you Jada) but I’m looking forward to this book. It’s been obvious over the years that Britney was miserable, struggles with mental health and it was handled the worse way. It never made sense that she was sick enough to be in a conservator but still work, record, tour? She’s a dancer and it’s obvious she was doing the bare minimum. I bought the book today, im almost 100 pages in and so hooked. It hits close to home cus im from louisiana and she mentions the towns where i live and grew up in a lot. This book is making me cry tho because she got put thru hell and she is such a family woman. Im so glad she gets to share her story now.
Her family didn’t visit her in the facility. Once the movement started to free Britney the doctor who was in charge got scared and released her. Once Britney was back in her home her family suddenly wanted to visit a week after she was released. They arrived and treated Britney like nothing happened. All week long Jamie Lynn was having meetings and then pitching showbiz ideas to Britney.

I‘ll never forget how I discovered Britney. I got a promo VHS tape partially made from styrofoam in a Backstreet Boys package. I remember playing it and when I saw Britney on screen, I was hooked. Lithium is a seizure medication as well. It essentially levels out brain waves. This means you dont get extreme bads, but you also lose most good feelings along with it. To have Britney on it against her will is like forcing the light out of someones daily experience. I feel so bad for her
Quick edit for those commenting here: I said for seizures "as well." I was implying that it works on the same mechanism, for both mood stabilizing and seizure prevention by keeping the brain in the middle with no highs or lows. Lithium is not used for epilepsy or non epileptic seizures. It not an anti seizure medication but a antimanic class psychiatric med for bipolar disorder, it a very strong mood stabilizing medication that is intended to reduce manic episodes and also depressive episodes. If given to a patient who is misdiagnosed bipolar but the correct diagnosis is ptsd (this is what I believe she is working through now) well that medication would harm not help. Especially if the person is still experiencing trauma at the time. Very sad, my heart and prayers go to Brit. She is a sweet good soul and she just needs to heal. ❤️🙏🏼❤️✨

I still remember the first time I watched "Britney: for the record", and she was there, trying to analyse herself, her situation, the cards she had in hand, and how that posture standed out to me; she had every reason at that point, and even a little allowance from public perception, in the moment of that documentary, to go ahead and complain a little; but instead she was trying to power through what she was trying to rationalize as being consequences to her own acts. She is nothing like the rest of her family, and honestly, I think that's her biggest blessing in life!
Have u seen 2 short videos where, Brit announces that she finished her book(Eww, and all the while she's talking all u can hear is some dude breathing/wheezing hard)and then she starts saying the lyrics from a Beach Boys song, but then she starts playing around(of course Britney Spears stans are already aware that she doesn't mean any harm, it's just our beloved Brit joking )and the guy recording starts repeatedly saying "It's too much! It's too much!" So(myself included)we all leave comments telling him to "Leave her alone!" and I know I commented about how "She's being our sweetheart Britney, DAMN she can't do anything without someone telling her what to do?" plus "The only thing that is too much, is how ol boy's breathing all hard as if he's watching porno?" amongst all the other ppl telling him off.
A little while later, the same video pops up but his breathing is edited out 🤣😂and it's been shortened. Just the part about her announcing her book and the BB song lyrics are there? 😞 Britney's situation triggers me because of my own traumatizing childhood-early adulthood, and I'm happy she's fighting back. She's trying to fight past her trauma and just be happy.🥰

Even though I’ve recovered, the panic attacks which were a side effect from quetiapine still occasionally resurface. But lithium? That stuff is rough, it’s no wonder Britney isn’t herself.

Normally memoirs annoy me (looking at you Jada) but I’m looking forward to this book. It’s been obvious over the years that Britney was miserable, struggles with mental health and it was handled the worse way. It never made sense that she was sick enough to be in a conservator but still work, record, tour? She’s a dancer and it’s obvious she was doing the bare minimum. I bought the book today, im almost 100 pages in and so hooked. It hits close to home cus im from louisiana and she mentions the towns where i live and grew up in a lot. This book is making me cry tho because she got put thru hell and she is such a family woman. Im so glad she gets to share her story now.
Apparently there was a lot more pages but it was narrowed down. So I have to wonder what else was going on.
Her family didn’t visit her in the facility. Once the movement started to free Britney the doctor who was in charge got scared and released her. Once Britney was back in her home her family suddenly wanted to visit a week after she was released. They arrived and treated Britney like nothing happened. All week long Jamie Lynn was having meetings and then pitching showbiz ideas to Britney.

I‘ll never forget how I discovered Britney. I got a promo VHS tape partially made from styrofoam in a Backstreet Boys package. I remember playing it and when I saw Britney on screen, I was hooked.
