You should have your friends be a part of more videos; your banter with them was hilarious! I haven't laughed this hard while watching a video in a long time.
At 8:45 The reason there was a second person was to defend from like thieves and stuff. Now I may be completely wrong on the time period, but I do know that was a fact during the 1800s. A person would sit next to the carriage driver (if there is a specific word for it, then wooops) and hold a gun or weapon to protect, usually a shot gun, hence calling the front passenger seat next to the driver of a car the "shotgun" seat.
Boaz Levy I thought it was the dude who opens the carriage door for the passengers. Like, one guy to steer the horses and another to open the door, but I think that makes more sense.
The other guy is the Coachman. He holds the door and in some shows where the passenger is a douche-y noble, I’ve seen that he lets them step on his back to get in and out of the carriage.
So far Bernadette Peters has played the witch from Rapunzel and the stepmother from Cinderella, would anyone like to see her as the evil queen from Snow White
I remember when this first aired too and thinking that the prince was cute. Don't think the nationality is right, but he's who I kept picturing for Prince Kai in Lunar Chronicles (which works).
This was so amazingly funny, made my day. All your videos are smart and insightful, even the silly ones like this. And may I just say you are adorable mr. mash.
The realization Disney has been Non-traditional casting for at least a decade, separately at 16:07 this could have turned into a Le Mis with Cosette and Eponine actually being the same person
This is so funny. I literally can't stop singing the pasta bowl! I was at the doctors office in the waiting room, and all of a sudden I sat up and Sung the words the pasta bowl!
Just rewtaching this after watching the movie on D+, I miss these videos. They make me laugh so hard wishing I had a group of friends that were into similar things insted of single friendships all around.
I've been singing "The Pasta Bowl" whenever I listen to this song and thinking I made it up, but it must have just been floating around in my subconscious since I saw this video back in 2016!
I just discovered your channel via this video and I have watched it at least a dozen times. The 1997 Cinderella is one of my favorites and you and your friends have made it even more fun to watch. Subscribed!
Love all of your videos and this one takes the cake. I laughed until my ribs hurt. I've literally had the same conversations about this movie before. I needs friends like you in my life lol!
“I still want to go to the festival! “ “But How am I ever to get to the festival?“ “I know I'll CALL THAT WEIRD WITCH, SHE'S PLAYED BY WHITNEY HOUSTON, and tell her just want to go to the Festival!!!“
I searched Paolo montalban aka the prince and your video came up. I don't know why I expected him to be one of your special guests, but I wasn't took disappointed when he wasn't because this video was so funny. Thanks for that.
Tommy has an adorable laugh. This is the poor man's musical theatre QI.I wanna go to The Pasta Bowl while wearing Whitney Houston's costume and sing my order and the restaurant name.
You should do the musical 'Taboo' for the next "show of the week". It's a great, obscure show from 2003. Raul Esparza was nominated for a Tony for this production. George O'Dowd (Boy George) wrote the score and acted in it as well! Strange but fantastic show.
You and your friends are hilarious! Plus, I just want to say that I love your podcasts, I've listened to every single one of them more than twice now, I just wish there were more!
The second guy on the carriage was either a doorman if it was a covered carriage or just the person who helped ladies out of the carraige down the stairs.
I was always more of a Lesley Ann Warren version of R&H:C fan, myself, probably because with that hair and outfit, Whitney Huston looks like David Bowie in Labyrinth. Same magic too.... (head canon: they come from the same universe.)
14:04 the easiest fix is that the people don’t know that the ball is supposed to help the prince find a betrothed. And it’s advertised as a high society event. It’s an easy fix, but oh well. Like no Cinderella story has ever tried to fix it
+Tahlia Merrill Kirk I think it actually says Tea, She Drank, but you can't see the rest here. It's a Murder, She Wrote spoof. There's a caricature of Angela Lansbury on the other side if it's the mug I'm thinking of. huntees.com/products/tea-she-wrote-mug
can you do a minuteish or review on Fiddler on the Roof, or Book of Mormon? Also check out this short obscure musical called "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." It's hilarious and the soundtrack is right on youtube.
Um... new vid? ... it is tuff to get through my weeks without knowing the show to ponder on throughout... i need you like i need my Wicked and Into the Woods soundtrack!
Also consider "You wish to go to the pasta bowl, the pasta bowl, the KINNNNG'S PASTA BOWL?!"
Cara Picone cursed comment! Lmao
The Pasta Bowl is funny.
You should have your friends be a part of more videos; your banter with them was hilarious! I haven't laughed this hard while watching a video in a long time.
Yes please. I'm so done :'D
+Jordan Mills I agree with you. I reckon they should get together to watch Rocky Horror: Live when it airs. They are all hilarious.
Yes, Absolutely! =D
everytime you screamed when Whitney appeared had me rolling! Especially the last one omg!
I scream the same way when she surprises me like that in my nightmares.
The Pasta Bowl lol

Wow, what an interesting fact. I never knew the origins of "shotgun" as slang or thought about it.
Boaz Levy I thought it was the dude who opens the carriage door for the passengers. Like, one guy to steer the horses and another to open the door, but I think that makes more sense.

"That's why they call me Talkstohiscamerainhisapartment...erella"

I about died laughing at the "hat market" comment.
I'm pretty sure I'll never get over "The Pasta Bowl."
I was watching this with earbuds and and I realized I was laughing really loudly and no one could hear why😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

YOUR LAUGHTER IN THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY
I just discovered your channel today and I'm already reeling and tickled all over with amusement hahaha
"Into the forest I go....."
So far Bernadette Peters has played the witch from Rapunzel and the stepmother from Cinderella, would anyone like to see her as the evil queen from Snow White
h193013 Idk if you mean Into the Woods, or Disney's Tangled. Bernadette Peters was only in one of them..... (and it wasn't Tangled)
This was so much fun to watch and I'll never forgive you for The Pasta Bowl lmao 😂😂 Please do this again with another movie musical if you can!
"The Pasta Bowl" LOL!!!!! That killed me!
I remember when this first aired too and thinking that the prince was cute.
Don't think the nationality is right, but he's who I kept picturing for Prince Kai in Lunar Chronicles (which works).
ckat13 now that you mention it in can so see him as Prince Kai
I think technically Kai would have been Chinese, and Paolo Montalban is Filipino, but yeah, I totally put his face to Kai's too :)
Uwwee totally!
This is the funniest thing I've seen in a while, you and your friends are hilarious!!! PUMP-KIN COACH!
1. I need more friends like yours.

This video has aged like a fine wine! I always return to it when I need to laugh! Thank you
Correct me if I'm wrong. So a White King, married a Black Queen, and had an Asian Prince, who falls in love with a Black woman.
Jacob Fisher
Disney: making you believe in the unbelievable since day 1
Things are happening everryyyyyy dayyyyyyyyyy
They didnt cast based off race.... the step mother has both a black and white daughter
Don't you love the inclusion ☺
Maybe the Asian child was adopted.

The friends you surround yourself with are absolutely amazing. I'm laughing so damn hard. This is brilliant.
Reactions are better when you’re interested
Just rewtaching this after watching the movie on D+, I miss these videos. They make me laugh so hard wishing I had a group of friends that were into similar things insted of single friendships all around.
You should watch the original, 1957 version with Julie Andrews!
I've been singing "The Pasta Bowl" whenever I listen to this song and thinking I made it up, but it must have just been floating around in my subconscious since I saw this video back in 2016!
Thank God for you and this channel! I have been so depressed all week and this episode kept me laughing all the way through! I needed that! :)
I just discovered your channel via this video and I have watched it at least a dozen times. The 1997 Cinderella is one of my favorites and you and your friends have made it even more fun to watch. Subscribed!

The Pizza Giggles, at their worst.
I agree with the comments too, the repertoire with your friends is fantastic.
Tommy has an adorable laugh. This is the poor man's musical theatre QI.I wanna go to The Pasta Bowl while wearing Whitney Houston's costume and sing my order and the restaurant name.
Okay, I haven't gotten to the end yet, but I just have to comment on the "produced and air" joke....just yes.
This video is an instant mood-booster.

It's Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II.
AAAAHH I've been waiting for you to watch this!!!!
I haven't seen this movie in forever! My pastor knot it to me before taking my family to see the stage show, the first musical I ever saw.
Idk why i always crack up when Bernadette Peters answers “Because!” When Brandy stands up to her.
I just saw brandy last night in Chicago at the Pantages!
I’m gonna be honest but this is my favorite version of the musical.
If you make a Pasta Bowl T-Shirt I WILL buy it.

I'm still waiting for this movie to be on blu-ray.....
This was pretty much the funniest thing I've ever watched, ever. xD
Please, Tommy; never stop making these. EVER.
I want to go to The Pasta Bowl now......
I'm not in Chicago anymore and this made me miss The Pasta Bowl so much.
Voldemort is I think my favorite of your friends, she has me laughing so hard!
14:04 the easiest fix is that the people don’t know that the ball is supposed to help the prince find a betrothed. And it’s advertised as a high society event. It’s an easy fix, but oh well. Like no Cinderella story has ever tried to fix it
I love your videos. I’m pretty much binge watching them all. This one looks like you’re filming high with the munchies. Still good though! :-)

Real talk: the carriage DJ would actually be a footman - he'd help them in and out of the carriage.
+the boy from nc (and play some sick tunes.)
Please play the pasta bowl clip at my funeral...
What's the meaning behind the mug that says "Tea She"? I don't get the reference.
Oooh, thanks! That makes a lot more sense and explains the font.
Mr. Tommy, you should watch the Dr. Seuss musical short the Hoober Bloob Highway! Thanks so much for your amazing videos!!!!! Love, Gracie Sings.
Omg I'm cinderella in my school play im not kidding
I had this tape! I played it all the time. 😭😭
