Typical Korean and Chinese parents, though Ive taught Japanese, too, ang mga Koreans and intsik talaga super strict sa education ng mga anak nila. Minsan, naawa na ako, or kaming Esl teachers kasi grabeng pressure. I had a Korean boss na dito pina aral yung anak nya para makaiwas sa military training. Hays, kaya thankful tayong mga pinoy, kahit mahirap tayo, may freedom naman at naeenjoy ang childhood natin compare sa kanila.

@@w1thikonic Pwede silang makaiwas or reject it through conscientious objection, example yung isang stud ko is Jehovah's witness, bawal sa paniniwala nila kaya he declined, dati crime xa ngayon nd na. Yung anak ng boss ko, bumalik din sa Korea after 2 years. Wala syang valid reason. Pwedeng makaiwas due to valid reasons, pero required ka ring mag enlist as long as healthy ka.

Culture kasi nila yan sa Korea..gumagamit lagi ng mga formal na salita pag kausap di close in relationship. At satin po at opo lang pwde nya magamit. Katumbas nyan sa Korean yong "yo" sa dulo ng salita o kaya "imnida" na mas formal.

I had a minor class with Jinho once. I remember finding him very lively and spontaneous. And even though we’re not from the same department, he’s pretty popular back then amongst the student body.
I should commend Sir Ryan too. His classes are one of the most interesting classes I’ve been too. You will never see his classes dull. A friend of mine told me she transferred to medicine because she was so moved and inspired by Sir Ryan’s teachings. I can’t tell more but he’s really one of a kind.
Oh I remember. Carla’s son graduated from Mapua too. He’s from Mapua Makati. I was one or maybe two batch ahead of him. I didn’t knew a famous Padilla was in our school until my juniors talking on sns about seeing Carla and the possibility of seeing Daniel Padilla at the ceremony. Haha

Ay naku, very true yu g sinabi ni jinho regarding education sa sk.... nung nagturo ako sa korean company (online english teacher) yung mga bata sa kanila (3 and above) kahit 0 english talaga hanggang 11pm pinag aaral nila... lalo na yung mga estudyante na talaga. Yung tipong 6 a.m to 11 pm aral kung aral.... kaya madaming korean na mas gusto mag aral dito saten kasi pag summer vacation, vacation lang talaga di tulad sa kanila.. aral padin.. kahit winter vacation aral padin...
