I got to meet Kirk after being his biggest fan for like 4 years and he was actually kinda rude and crabby haha. I still believe he is a great guy, but I definitely caught him on a bad day :( which really sux but at least I got an autograph. he wasn't mean but he wasn't as nice as he usually is thats for sure

I agree. It's bizarre how Dan Campbell arrives at the Lions and goes 4-13 and everyone expects is year 2 improvement to 9-8. However, KO arrives and goes 13-4 in his first season with a Spielman roster, and little help from his 2022 rookie class, and they all expect regression.
Imagine the rethink if the Vikes beat the Eagles in week 2, and then the Chiefs in week 5.
That offense with JJ & Addison, and TJ & Oliver is going to be hard to handle.

@@robe2504meh idk man, I think the lions remind me a lot of the 2015 Vikings, solid drafts and no one expected anything from them and we won the division that year. Now I know it’s still the lions and the Vikings are constantly getting zero credit. It’s going to be a rly interesting year for sure
@@redt7452 I agree that the Lions and Bears are both heading in the right direction, but it seems that every year fans are overly optimistic about the contributions their rookies will make.
Look at last season - sure, Hutchinson was above average, but Williams and Paschal barely got on the field. Some late round guys flashed, but will they hold up this season.
The Packers thought Devontae Wyatt and Quay Walker would make their D elite. Walker was a liability, Stokes went backwards and Wyatt was a non-event.
The Vikes had high hopes for Cine, Booth, Asamoah, but most of their rookie contribution came from Ingram, Evans and Otomewo.
So yes, the Lions added 5 top 60 rookies, but I'd suggest the Vikes 2022 rookie class will have a much bigger impact in the NFC North than any of the 2023 classes.
I really think the Lions could rue not making a big move for Stroud or Richardson. I'm extremely happy that they didn't.

The offense is still gonna cook this year and the defense will be better so how we gonna do worse than last year?? We are better this year and I honestly as a vikes fan feel better about this year than i ever did last year prior to the season. I’m all in on a cousins in year 2 of this offense
