Alex, thank you for delivering news in ASL today! Here are my thoughts regarding the news that were shared.
As for the Juneteenth celebrations that took place across the U.S., it was a great day for slaves to be informed that they were no longer slaves. But at the same time, it is such a tragedy that people had slaves in general because many of them would treat them harshly, etc.
As for FINA to restrict transgender women, their stance is not wholly good because it is best to ban transgender women from participating regardless of age and it is not a good idea to suggest people to do their gender change at age 12 because this lifestyle is an abomination and causes one to become an author of confusion.
As for Rep. Adam Kinzinger getting a letter with a death threat, whoever did this was foolish in doing so. It is wrong to threaten people where they could die. Furthermore, it was foolish of that person to mention that their baby would go to Hell because babies do not go to hell.
As for the Republican Party of Texas, they were foolish to say the 2020 election result was illegitimate, however, they were wise to say homosexuality is an abnormal lifestyle choice because it is an abomination and a sin.
As for the report saying Uvalde police never tried to open classroom doors, there should have been a swifter response.
As for 2,000+ cattle deaths blamed on a heat wave, this is definitely an economic loss for farms. I hope the farmers don't lose as much money if they are able to somehow safely sell the meat from the cattle.

What of all the other races that were, and some still are, in slavery across the globe? No celebration of the end to their slavery.
Irish slaves were treated much worse than slaves from Africa, yet no celebration for the end of their slavery.
American Indians kept slaves of other Indian tribes, yet no celebration for the end of their slavery.
Why is this about skin color?

"an aurhor of confusion" lmao you keep saying that, but it ends with "but of peace" so what you're doing isn't helpful and will be hurtful to these people who can't help themselves, resulting in murders and suicides, is that peace?
and i agree, transgender women shouldn't compete in women sports, they have too much advantage however you used the word abomination, you know transgender people, homosexuality etc exist before some man wrote the bible? they were always here but people like you make them feel like shit. maybe ignore the part "of confusion" and focus on "of peace." when people like you actually understand bible, instead of taking things out of the context, the world would be alot better. im sad for you
