Also, if you need more vertical adjustment, after removing two little screws on the top of the elevation turret, and removing that lid cover from the turret, you will have an access to the "stop screw" - little tiny screw. By switching that tiny screw to the opposite side, you will gain more adjustment on the elevation. Unless you are already max out...
Best to mess with those screws on the elevation turret over something that will catch them if you drop one. They are some kind of tough to find on carpet.

Yes, the Ajack is pretty forgiving with elevation. Zero stops before they knew what to call them!

Great Point Mike! Yes, they are very tiny screws so work over a bench or table if you remove them.
