    Great stuff. Big fan of your workflow. I'm about to extract myself for the first time(wish me luck!) and you've made it look like smooth sailing.     Put a small triangle in the top corners of your lifting device and it will be a lot less wobbly. Absolutely love the invention!

      I think im gonna like it. Definitely a work in progress. Need to fine adjust the chains and gonna put 8 inch wheels under it to make it taller and easier to move outside to clean. Thanks for watching and god bless

    Hi Sir, thanks for the video. I think your set up is one of the set up that can encourage new people to want to join the party. It is not scary but encouraging. Im thinking of entering this business, but all the set up i have seen frightened me, except yours. Im novice to this business but like il. Can you please furnish me with the different types of machines, their function and price. I hope im not asking too much of you. I just want to know if I have the money to start this business. Thanks

      Hello and thanks for watching my video.if your just starting out i encourage you to figure out at what level do you want to take this hobby as it is very enjoyable but a lot of work and alot of money . How many hives would you like to get to?

      Sorry its took so long to answer your questions.
      Ultramax was around 1350
      The 2 vivo extractors was 425 apeice
      The maxant chain uncapper was 3000
      The fruit press was around 400
      Bucket blankets around 150 apeice
      Theres alot of other smaller tools but most arent used . Thats why i think you should figure out about how many hives you want to get up to and plan to buy the right equipment for that number even if it is a little overkill at first thanks again for watching and god bless

    Thanks for making this video. How is that extractor holding up? Anything you are unhappy with about it? I’m looking to buy the same one sometime before the next extraction season. These look great, the price seems fantastic, and the warranty is unreal, but there isn’t a lot of independent reviews out there yet.

      I think its the best extractor on the market for the price.i looked at extractors that size for 4 years and none of them made me pull the triger.the price is way better and its built very well.there pretty new brand and john at hillco is constantly making improvements.with the 4/10 warranty you cant go wrong.in the 4 years searching for an extractor,this is the only place ive ever seen a warranty and that means alot.give john a call at hillco and chat with him,hes one of the nicest guys and loves to talk.       hello and thanks for watching. my honey house size is 12 by 28.no such thing as being big enough. Its usually fine except a few times a year when you start extracting honey and packing supers in and out, then trying to bottle honey all at the same time, it gets kinda crowded but I get by. appreciate your time and hope to hear from ya again. god bless any more questions,please feel free to ask

      hello daisy it cost 1389.00 with free shipping .it is very well built and comes with a 4-10 year warranty. 4years on the motor gear box and control box and 10 years on all the rest.that is unheard of .been looking at different extractors for 4 years now and its hands down the best deal ive seen out there on the market thanks for watching and you can go to hillco utube channel and john can give you a good look at all there extractors and other products. thsanks and god bless

      Hello that is a hillco ultramax and its made in the usa.its one of the nicest extractors ive seen on the market.been looking at it for over a year and finally decided to pull the trigger.its very well built and for the price no others even come close and ive been looking at extractors for 4 years now.it holds 18 mediums or 9 deeps and it can hold 9 mediums and 9 deeps at the same time.the warranty is so good its unheard of.4 years on the motor gearbox and control box and 10 year warranty on all the rest. Ive never seen that anywhere else . I highly recommend hillco they have a utube channel so you can get a good preveiw of all their products .the price is 1389.00 with free shipping .thanks for watching

      I have 30 production hives and total 53 right now my bees have stopped making swarm cells so im gonna start grafting queen cells.i pulled 24 medium supers and got 42 gallons of honey.ive got 28 deep boxes almost ready to pull.and there filling the supers now.best year ive ever had.god is sure looking out for me this year and it feels pretty good after last year.       This pull of honey was very light but now their feeding on clover so it will be a little darker next time . Ive never had real dark honey in my area .thanks for watching and god bless

      Have no idea if its the best .i will say its not at all perfect and is definitely a work in progress. Fixing to make a video on the modifications ive made to it since the video .i do think that it will be ok once the bugs are worked thanks for watching and god bless

    What kind of digital honey refractometer are you using. Do you find it's pretty accurate with the readings.

      Ive been really satisfied with it .seems to be pretty accurate.the only complaint with it is,its a little to much for checking out at the hives but its really nice when your extracting.i want one of the cheaper ones that you look thru like a scope .i think they would be handier outside.hope that helps ,thanks for watchin and god bless

    What is that covering on your floor? We have a temp setup in a shipping container and are looking at a clean flooring setup that wont cost alot. Also where are you and how do you know the flow is over?

      hello the covering on the floor is bubble wrap that they use on roofing. Had a hard time finding enough cardboard to cover the floor so decided to give that a try.im gonna mop it when im done roll it up and use it again next year. Thanks for watching and god bless

      I cant remember what company i ordered it from. Its very heavy built and sturdy.will be making a video soon with it pressing the cappings. My batteries all went dead on me and couldnt get it in the video . Thank for watching and god bless

      Well im sure they dont appreciate it to much, but at the end of the day they depend on honey sales to keep them taken care of. Things like mite treaments ,pollen substitutes,sugar syrup on the fall,wooden ware,all the things they need cost a lot of money .thanks for watching and god bless
