Footage of General Idi Amin, the Ugandan Military Head of State arriving in the Egyptian Mediterranean resort of Mersa Matruh. He attended part of the meeting of the Fourth Session of the Federation of Arab Republics' Presidency Council. Attending where President Anwar el-Sadat of Egypt, President Hafez al-Assad of Syria, and Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya.
    Reuters Text:
"President Amin's presence at the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the strengthening of Uganda' relations with the Federation. President Amin recently severed links with Israel--and accused it of carrying out sabotage in his country ... (his) visit to the meeting at Mersa Matruh came during an official visit to Egypt".

    Note:
Assad and Sadat were like Amin and Gaddafi military men: Assad had been an air force officer who seized power when he was the Syrian minister of defence, while Sadat had been an army officer.
