What faults were you getting, I have 00310B: charging pressure control 2 plausibility / 0030FF: boost pressure too low. I'm about to change both valves. Hope it's not the DME

      Have you sorted it?

Yeah I have, trlurned out to be the boost solenoid valve. Changed all the vacuum lines as well the were bad. It was all good after, they are in a very tight place to get to, the one for bank 1 is behind the passenger sideheat exchanger.

I have 2013 Bmw 550i after I did valve seal job
I notice my car have too much negative pressure to the point when car is running its really hard to take off oil fill cap.
I replaced oil separators under valve cover PCV is almost new.
What can be malfunctioning to create this much negative pressure?
    Thanks

    • @Logic7repair
      @Logic7repair  Год назад

That is normal there should be vacuum in the crankcase, if it runs good and no errrors you should be fine

@@Logic7repair No errors it’s running great. I’m concerned I will blow out rear main seal or front seal. I never noticed that much pressure on any cars I had before or worked on before.
I know there should be some negative pressure but I just do t want to create more issues.

@@mikimiki195 Did you replace the pcv hose? If you did was it replaced with an original part? If not that would be the answer to the negative pressure.

Hello. I have the same engine N63. I have the charging pressure control deactivation pressure build-up blocked 120408 error.
    1. Since it didn't specify as bank 2, does this mean a problem with the bank 1 components?
    2. If so, could it mean that the boost valve for bank 1 is faulty and is allowing a constant flow, which implies an over boost on bank 1?
    Please help.

What possible ways are there to fix this? I think I may have this issue. How bad is it to drive with that issue?

Replace solenoid, if problem still there it’s DME ecu

I would tie the circuits together, only using bank 1 circuit
