In today's video I am sharing with you a food prep, where I try new recipes, explore flavours and get prepped for the week ahead.
For me sustainable living is always about cooking from scratch where possible, valuing what you own, introducing minimalist ideals by keeping our space free of unwanted items and lowering our waste wherever possible. Zero waste living is something I strive for. Meal prepping for autumn, learning new skills and minimising wherever I can. I hope you enjoy this calm cooking video!

I’m Really enjoying your 100 days series, so many good ideas I must say also I love your sense of humour and how down to earth you are, it’s so refreshing, I look forwforward to your videos and your recipes I’ve made many, and I am looking forward to your book coming out, sending love from 🇬🇧 enjoy your time with your family 🙏🏻 ❤x
I`m enjoying too)
For a second near the end of the video, I thought you were eating sourdough starter from the jar, but then realized it was oats haha
haha can you imagine
You had me craaaacking up at the voiceover with your nephews and the flat baguettes!!
been following you for about 5 years now and I've just loved everything you've put out since moving to Denver. Happy for you!!
At this stage of following you, you can post anything and it’d be interesting, authentic and worthy of attempting to do myself. I value what you stand for and appreciate your sharing.
It's great to see people being normal people and not succeeding at their recipe trials and attempts the first time! I often do not even begin a recipe because I am so nervous about failing the first time and things being all A waste, and for not. it's good to know that the 1st results don't have to be shaming, and the attempts can be made again.
A recipe for growing your own spouts, and maybe even making your own citrus/apple/ect vinegar for cleaning?
Cooking from scratch is the most rewarding thing, and that comes across so beautifully in your videos! Keep up the good work, Immy🌞
Every time you eat your overnight oats I get a little confused and think that you are eating your sourdough starter, haha
omg me too!
I love the new “recipe” idea!! Please do it! ❤
Hey Immy, everything in this video resonates with me!! Everything!! From “Lake Life” (on your sweatshirt), intentional purchasing, 🍑peaches 🍑, fried potatoes with everything, RPL recipes, bowl covers, delicious sauces, spreads, and marinades, stretch & fold, overnight oats, gardening, harvesting & blanching, and the list goes on and on . I am visiting my very elderly Dad in the big city for a few more days and I am experiencing some problems with my already-compromised hearing. Just another reason why I fly only when absolutely necessary. I would love to hear about your next baguette adventure, book recs, seasonal recipes, and I think any type of recipes on your “100 Series” would be interesting (as per ushe). I hope you are feeling OK now, and you can enjoy hearing your nephews screaming in the background!! Thanks for the great content, and all the time and effort you put into making these super-awesome long form videos (my fave!!). Our B-days are approaching… what are your B-Day plans?? What projects do you have in mind for fast-approaching “yarn season”? Much Love, Ⓜary💕🇨🇦
Those baguettes Immy, oh my goodness, handsomely rustic looking, and so fantastically French! 👌 Oh, coming back here to England!?
Are your t shirts with the subtle logos etc from different places? I just love them, especially the white one, No Matter What and the black Doing Things. Want!
Motivating, entertaining and inspiring every time. Hats off to you. And yes to growing things recipes x
Yes to more than just food. Don’t get me wrong, love the food. Just other things are nice too!
haha don't worry I'm in the same boat, I just need to get my act together
Oh you tried baguette !! Really hard for me too, I let the baguettes rise after shaping on individual linen cloth, they stay 1-2 hours on the fridge at the end of the last rise, and it's easier to roll them on the fire stone (but you need to be quick). Not always a win but it helps me ! And about sustainability and cooking, i recently learn about some "boulangère" recipes ("pommes de terre à la boulangère" for example), they are recipes who need the same heat as a bread, so they can be cooked along with it ! I thought it might interest you :) Thanks for this inspiring video, cant wait for the next one !
I am also so excited for your food videos!! and a how to do sprouts video in your 100 days of recipes series would work out perfectly, looking forward!!
I also found baguettes so much more difficult than any other bread! I’ve decide it’s a “bakery-only” treat for me 😅
That intro was sooooo beautiful 😍
So much beauty and joy to be found in cooking and garden activities.
"Food that I can just pick up and shove in my mouth" so relatable 😂😅
I want funny unpredictable shape baguettes too! 😍 Will have to try in the future
Immy maybe you could do a food prep for the plane/car video? Helps avoid buying tons of plastic-wrapped food en-route. Also, maybe of video of some of the zero waste things you pack? e.g. I bring my stasher bags to absolutely every country I travel to. A travel prep in general would be an awesome vid!! Have fun at home
I love the idea with recepies for growing your own things! Especially for the balcony garden or little space. If not your videos, I wouldn't be growing my sprouts during last winter 🥰
I use a metal baguette pan. Makes it very easy.
9:00 shout out to the @mustards T-shirt.
Great calming video by the way. Love and good vibes from Hungary.
As always so many great recipes, thanks so much! The thought of making baguettes has always scared me haha...thanks for taking a go at it...maybe one day I'll try!
While watching this video I immediately had to stop and eat bread lol
Rainbow Plant Life has changed my life!
Oh mine too for sure
Exactly what I needed right now❤️
Thanks for sharing DoneGood!
Now I want to try blended oat night oats but I do love to make a big batch of oats and just add more milk when reheating it and toppings just because the warmth
Immy, you need a bread box for your bread! It'll keep fresh so much longer!
You're so right!
I really love your vlogs they always make me peacfull love the content thx for that your so creative❤❤❤
thank you much for your vidéos
❤❤love from canada 🇨🇦 immy❤
I just cant get over the texture of overnight oats 😢
Same, it’s sooo slimy
Same here I'm wondering if blending them makes it better
@@nataliawineland34in my experience yes, it's more digestible.
have u tried baked oats ?
Can someone please suggest a good thick vegan yogurt??? I really wanna try this! I haven’t found a yogurt I love yet.
Look into a bread proofer.
Is there a recipe for miso aubergine/ eggplant on this channel?
Yes on SHORTS!
Blended oats base recipe? Just oats and milk?
Love the videos. Can anybody recommend a beginners book for fermenting?
There's a whole chapter dedicated to a beginners guide to fermenting in my book that's just about to be released!! bit.ly/m/Immylucas
Fantastic. I have already pre-ordered!
Also where can we find recipes ?? 😊
Why dont you reach out to Inga Lam who just did a bread course in Paris? She might be able to help you in baguette making
Fantastic!🌿🕊️
To be honest, I found this video a tad stressful! I was like ‘but what was that you just showed on the screen?’ since your voiceover didn’t always fit what was showing. Also the ending…are you okay?!?
are YOU okay ? 😅
I just can't get on with overnight oats, the texture is not for me. I like chia pudding as an easy morning food but mostly I have homemade granola with yoghurt and fruit.
Do you know if focaccia would work with whole wheat flour? :)
❤
Aubergine has protein.....
Oh no at the ending, are you ok?!
Did anyone get the cracker recipe ?
Having so many avocados in your diet is not really that sustainable. 👀
It is not the most sustainable vegetable, but it's way more sustainable than meat and dairy :)
❤
