It's a good project which I do appreciate alot. However I think if this project was taken to mombasa, it would've gone a long way to help Mombasa beat other cities such as Cape Town. It would've been even more attractive to investors, bearing in mind the location.

    Thanks for the nice coverage!
Let's face it! Though this was to be a beautiful project, its progress has been nothing but mediocre. Talk, too much talk, does not a nation build. Other countries are also picking up pace, in their quest to attract outside investments, and they sure are going to give this project a stiff challenge. Kenya should be talking of attracting the Titans, the likes of Amazon, Fedex, Microsoft, etc, instead of targeting low rung businesses only. In short, they are not thinking big and in real time. They are lagging so much behind.

I agree with the need to attract big investors. Amazon, Unilever, etc. We remain hopeful though. I also hope the construction of the vertical infrastructure will kick off soon. That's the only way to assure Kenyans the project is on the right course.

Konza is abit tricky its a town that may not develope into a city,it hasissues, from title deeds nwater its in the middled n alot of aeroplanes will fly above it on the way to jkia making this dangerous for aeroplanes tecnical issues,it s near a railway line n wildlife allthis are kenyas heritage.plle intending to work there will have housing challenges, which arehuman rights basic requirement.due to planes, wilson airport hd this same disputes n planes landed on roofs

Hogwash.... planes fly over built cities everywhere in the world, and Konza is 70km from JKIA, hence, no direct threat. Being near a railway is an added advantage, we cannot stop developing for the sake of wildlife (such western thinking about Africa should not be entertained by an African) and, even so, Konza is not built on any wildlife reserve
