I was so hyped to try vertical streams for RUclips and have tried it a few times but I’ve never seen a stream show up while scrolling through Shorts besides pausing and tapping the Live tab.
i noticed when using the restream chat for multiple streaming platforms you have to go in every time and select the youtube broadcast that you are going live with. especially if youre changing stream titles regularly. the one thing about youtube and restream chat i didnt like for youtube is there is an impressive amount of delay.

I want to say that I have really low experience with expensive keyboards but for whatever reason my vulcan roccat tkl feels nicer and more premium on touch - could be the back, the case etc, maybe its because its plastic and its more user friendly? than the razer huntsman mini. (i have the purple switches on my razer and no analog ones atm) - paid 120$ for it My question is, if I buy the woothing do you think it will be a change in percieved build quality since I head its made by plastic? Is it worth doing the upgrade? The most important things for me is performance and build quality. Wait a minute. How's the process for the whole Apex Legends health bar? Like, I understand you use Affinity to cut it very precisely in a screenshot and then I guess you use an image mask but... How you manage to be able to move it around the canvas like at 3:37?
Make a mask in Illustrator/Affinity Designer/Inkscape/your graphics program of choice. Right click your gameplay > Add a filter > Image Mask/Blend > Select alpha channel in the drop down > Select your mask (should be a PNG file) That's basically it.

So the only issue I have come across here is, if you are triple streaming, you can't use vertical for 2 different sizes you can use vertical for a 16:9 and have all your twitch alerts seperare so they only show on twitch and you tube only shows on youtube, and if you use the multisrream plugin instead you can't make separate scenes to sepersre the twitch and you tube elements. It would be great if vertical allowed different screen sizes. Or multistrwam plugin allowed it's own scenes
This is game changing. I was wondering hiw would you do this for a game like Sea of Thieves? The health and ammunition bar do not show all the time. Health bar only shows up if you get hurt or eating and the ammunition bar only shows when you have your weapon out. I am sorry I don't really understand how I start both streams. I can only see one stream under Live content. How do I start both streams? After copy pasting the new stream key, do I change back to the old one?
Make a mask PNG file then add it with an "Image Mask/Blend" filter over your gameplay. You should use Source Clone to make a clone of your gameplay first, then apply the mask to the clone, otherwise you will crop your whole gameplay source.
Whenever I add a second scene on AITUM Vertical it just fucks up all of my transitions. I tried deleting the transition matrix and all things related to no avail. I didn't want to program scene as sources showing up and hiding whenever I change horizontal scenes but I might have to. Oh well

So i'm having issues with my two youtube streams. I get two separate chrome tabs open with each key, and ive got the keys/stream urls set correctly with Atium Vertical/Multistream. But whichever stream i start from obs first, say the vertical, it sends to the vertical chrome tab but also changes my horizonal youtube chrome tab to the vertical stream key and now i have two tabs both running vertical. I can't get them to both run at the same time. I usually multistream youtube live, twitch and facebook live all at the same time. Vertical has been giving me issues!

hey guys, I downloaded the Aitum plugin for OBS and I'm trying to stream horizontal/vertical at the same time. I keep getting the yellow bar error: RUclips is not receiving enough video to maintain smooth streaming. As such, viewers will experience buffering. I AM able to successfully stream via OBS horizontally with no issues for the past couple of months. I've tried everything under the sun all YT videos I can find, it's ONLY since I've installed the Vertical plugin does it not work either Multi-stream or just Vertical. I've tried: Changing bitrates/resolution output/latency on stream Testing Just Horizontal vs Just Vertical vs Multi-streaming MacBook Pro: 2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, OS Sonoma 14.6.1, OBS 30.1.2 Has anyone else come across this issue before where the Vertical plugin just refuses to stream? so when i tried building my vertical layout, i added a gamecapture in to the vert sources and it wouldnt show the image untill i disabled the source of the horizontal sources (even tho i made a new source in the vertical sources) is it not possible to use seperate sources but use the same .exe? in my case acs.exe?

Vertical stream is too good imo. Im just starting to build my RUclips, and have started to stream from my phone, so ofc its vertical. And after the first 3 streams i started to average 150-250 constant viewers and are generating 50-80 subs pr houre i stream. And for a Channel with under 1k subs thats amazing

You take a screenshot, then you create a mask in a photo editor, then you create another source and cut the part you want with that mask

Views during the broadcast don't count towards the normal view count after the stream. But any views after the stream count as regular views.
