At the price point these were pre-ordering for..they should be flawless out of the box.

I heard about the issue elsewhere, a friend of a friend, who is now my friend, turned me onto this video. Now I need to order a car when my next payday arrives, I just hope you still have the version I can use by then. Such is life. Great looking models, by the way, I wish your company well going forward.

My car came bent on one end. I contacted Class One and they replied with the fix. My car is nice and level now. I like the great customer service! Thank you!

Yup - mine required the fix. Unfortunately, I broke a brake wheel doing the bending. Class One sent me a replacement. Thanks.

My GSC flatcars have also arrived.
Also with slightly bent ends. I disassembled the cars and bent the frame and reworked the brake linkage, now it looks better.

That's exactly how I fixed mine. It wasn't bent nearly as bad as some I saw online or your example in this video. Thanks for explaining how they came to be bent.

Mehh, us guys who've been in the hobby a long time have done this more times than not to correct issues. It's not a big deal, although kudos to you guys for speaking out on it

I’m not sure how long you’ve been in the hobby, but these cars haven’t been out more than a year or two. What other cars have had this structure that you’ve been using this method to fix them?

🙄 I would recommend removing the trucks before doing any bending. The brake rigging that connects each pair of brake shoes is extremely fragile and easily broken. The piece I am referring to resembles a roof rafter; /|\ with a bottom piece connecting to each brake shoe. I am hoping this 'fix' will allow the trucks to track thru the frog of one particular turnout without causing the car to derail! 🤭 It is disappointing that this 'fix' may be required, however. I am very happy with the car, otherwise!👏👍

My cars came and were perfect. And those loads are absolutely gorgeous! Thanks!
Now if there was one all bent up in PennCentral paint then that is totally understandable. LOL!

I would like to see this car produced in the D&H scheme.

I never had that problem, ever. Why? Because they don’t make these cars in O scale!!!
