Melodic death metal at its finest. Be'lakor grabbed me the 1st time I ever heard them (song: Countless Skies), so I immediately went down the rabbit hole.
@BenBaer, 😅 I saw your comment pop up. Yes, you're correct, I love me some Be'lakor and my beloved 🔥🔥❤Opeth❤🔥🔥!

Be'lakor without a doubt have some of the best Melodic Death Metal albums out there.. I used to have an ipod mini years ago that held a total of 7 albums, and 2 of those were Be'lakor albums. And they just look like your typical random aussie lads.

Btw, In Parting is one of my faves, it's more a straight forward fable compared to this one. I got to know the song before all the lyrics, so when I finally looked them up it was sort of.... a gut punch, lol. (It's Be'lakor, of course it ends tragicly, I should have been prepared!😅) Great song.

I remember you guys reviewed and plague flowers the kaleidoscope and raved about how it was 10/10 and I was like "oh sick they just discovered they love good progmetal. Now they'll definitely check out all the big prog metal bands". Then you didn't for like five+ years.

    Sound Amon Amarth-ish

This album of breath and bone and the album before it stones reach are some of the best melodeath records ever, I’d take them over any Amon Amarth record.

It sounds because it is the same genre - melodic death metal. The difference is that be'lakor adds progressive layers to it - and of course the story telling. Even though I like Amon Amarth, this is clearly a step up, musically speaking. Amon Amarth uses winning formula and repetitive riffs.

Both great ones but quite different within the genre IMO

Hi I don't know if you have already made a reaction to these songs but could you do some ghost again? Maybe : mummy dust, spirit, depth of satan's eye, Idolatrine, Nocturnal Me, I'm a Marionette, Prime Mover and Satan Prayer? I'm curious how you would react to at least one of these songs :D

Could you please react to Iron Maiden's song "The Parchment"? I think you'll enjoy it, especially the lyrics.
