I feel a complete novice now at a mere 30+ first one May 21st 3 nights in a row that time Earl's Court '76, between shows and my record memorabilia etc I'v spent a fortune on them over the years and still do, but the buzz I get cant be described 😎👌☘️

I was just lucky, a single person living & working in London throughout the '70's & '80's, my biggest occupation was going to live gigs. Working in the travel trade I was fortunate enough to be able to get on a plane anytime to see the Stones abroad. You might have seen me (!) at Earls Court, I was idiotic enough to get onto the stage one night, only to be "ejected" (!) of course, (but I got back into the arena, and got back to the front!). But, as you say, having a Stones passion has cost me a fortune also, and now too old to get to see them on their forthcoming US tour. Maybe they'll play one more time in the UK? Hope so! Thanks again to Shonana for providing videos. Keep rockin'!

You got to love the Stones but really, this should be called the Geriatric Tour. There is more arthritis in the hands of Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood than you'd find in a clinic but they can still rock it.
IMHO they are destroying their legacy . I loved the RS years ago and every new album was like a god’s gift. They were a special band , definitely not good technically or individually but there was a kind of magic happening when they played together . Now, this magic has gone , they should retire , enjoy life instead of ruining what they have built .

My point is that there have always been people who think the Stones are undermining their reputation as a great band because they're not as good as they used to be, whether that's with regards to their musical output or their live performances, in those peoples opinions. You're not saying anything new, nor have you given any reasons or evidence to support your opinion. You're just bitching, period. The Stones continue to perform because they still enjoy performing and because people still want to see them perform. They are living legends, among the very few left from the 60's and 70's. Don't want to see them in concert or watch videos of recent performances? Then don't. Here's a thought - do something constructive with your life.
