It's very common in Sindh villages. This custom has been adopted from Christianity. They practice celibacy, where the women are married to the Christ and so they become nuns who never marry or have sex. But yeah the priest can, behind doors. They have advantage in doing so, their properties inheritance remain within the family. Shame on those Muslims making a jest of the sacred book of God.

This only happens in the province called Sindh. It does not happen anywhere else in the country. These people are actually not uneducated. They are educated and very wealthy people. This practice was introduced (long long time ago) to ensure that land ownership remains in the family so they marry off their daughters with Quran. This is just barbaric. But remember this is only in Sindh province within certain families (or a particular type of community). This practice is not widespread even in Sindh. This is limited to a particular community.
