#1 is still skip by a large margin, doordash used to be #2 in my city, now its #3 behind ubereats. I've been doing skip since january 2018, doordash since november 2019 and just recently signed up with ubereats 2 days ago. In edmonton
Ohhhhh you're new with Uber. Hopefully you get really good orders in your market. Skip pays me the most per order but man..... It's not busy in my area.
@gigworkmama I like it! With uber eats I got the freedom to travel and explore new places, my goal is to increase my satisfaction rate to get to DIAMOND, am already on gold! I been doing the deliveries with a electric byke thanks to that i been saving money on gas.
I'm sorry you didn't get all that you wanted in the video. To answer specifically, my Skip bag is by far the best bag out there. The free DoorDash bag is thin but fits most orders (even a McDonald's bag). The catering bag is big but also thin. Uber Eats doesn't have specific bags here in Canada. As for the sign up process, DoorDash is super easy. Skip is long but doable. You do have to show that you have a bag and I believe you have to pay for your Bach ground check but I don't fully remember. Uber is looooonnngggg and tedious. They are very specific with what they want.
my location is Vancouver BC, I agree ubereat have more order, but the delivery arrangement doordash is better, doordash almost assign order one by one, but ubereat will assign a lot of orders even you're picking up at restaurant, it will make the delivery slower, but yes more order income for driver
That's an interesting perspective. I actually like double and sometimes triple orders.... If they pay well. You can also turn off the option to receive orders while you're on an order if you don't want Uber to send you more orders. I've done that a few times.
I'm so sorry that you found it difficult to see the screenshots. I'll keep it in mind for the next video in this format. I try to show the information based on what's said but I can see how it can go by fast for some. Thanks for watching 🙂
Hey just came across your channel...Niiice...Also delivering in QC, mostly Granby but also south shore and MTL occasionnally...Mostly doing some content on Tiktok !
One difference between Uber and Skip the Dishes is that Uber will actually refund you when your order is mixed up. Skip the Dishes delivered someone elses order and refused to refund me.
Yes. I turn on all of my apps from home and keep them open. I pause them when I get an order. Then u pause about 3 mins away from drop off. Sometimes one minute away. It depends on the type of drop off.
I do skip the Dishes here in Fredericton New Brunswick. Come April 2024 I would have been driving for them a year. Thinking of now about multi apping .
@@gigworkmama my market is pretty good to be honest even though Fredericton is only 80,000 population it’s a wealthy city as it’s the capital. I’ve learned a lot about this kind of work from people like yourself and Dash with Ash. I really do enjoy it . I do it as a side hustle not full time. My market is a little saturated but I can make some good gig money by just doing skip. I’m 50 years of age and I’m on an army military pension. Multi apping may work for me but because Freddy is a small city I don’t know if it would make much more sense compared to a bigger city with a bigger market . What would yourself think in my situation.🤔
Ps last Monday night I got a $29 order to go 7 kms and it was going in my home direction as this was my last order as I was finishing in about 15 mins. We do have some good tippers here plus we have zero tippers also but in general it’s good 👍 for tips .
Awww I appreciate that. Dash with Ash is a good content creator too ❤️ I really think that this type of gig is good for part timers. I would still try multi apping even if it's a small population and a little over saturated. Test it out and see if it helps you bring in more money while you're out there.
Uber Eats have an arrangement with an Insurance Company for insurance. Does Skip and Door Dash have an arrangement with insurance companies for insurance?
I'm not sure. You'd have to look into that with them. I don't remember seeing a arrangement with insurance with Skip but I vaguely remember something with DoorDash.
Thanks so much. I don't take 1$/1km but I rarely get 2$/km. So I'm kind of an in between kind of gal 😂😂😂 Like I wouldn't take 5$ for 3 unless it's crazy slow... And even then I hesitate. But I would take 9$ for 5, especially if it's DoorDash (because of the hidden tip possibility).
Thanks for checking out the video. Have you ever thought of folding in other apps? Uber is the app that brings me the most money. I was shocked Skip came out on top.

Thank you for sharing, is my second week doing uber eats in new york. The information helps a lot!
You're very welcome. How have you been liking Uber Eats?

I was waiting for the delivery bags comparison and maybe sign up process... But still a good video so I gave you a like.

Thx for the video but I wish you kept the offer-screens on the video longer than 2 seconds. I had to keep pausing to read the different offer screens.

Thanks great info...Winnipeg is a real Skip town and most orders come from them.
You're very welcome my friend 🙂 Long time no see on here. I hope all is well.

Hiiiii 😁 oh your close to Dashing with Ash In Canada.
How is it in your area?
One difference between Uber and Skip the Dishes is that Uber will actually refund you when your order is mixed up. Skip the Dishes delivered someone elses order and refused to refund me.
What do you mean refund you? As in you purchased the right order for the customer?
Can you have uber eats, skip dishes, and doordash open at the same time when delivering?
Yes. I turn on all of my apps from home and keep them open. I pause them when I get an order. Then u pause about 3 mins away from drop off. Sometimes one minute away. It depends on the type of drop off.

Multi apping is def great! I rarely only have one app on anymore.

29$/7km is AMAZING! It's like they paid you to go home 😂😂

I do Uber. Great info! Thank you! ❤
Thanks for checking out the video. Have you ever thought of folding in other apps? Uber is the app that brings me the most money. I was shocked Skip came out on top.
@gigworkmama I tried to sign up for Doordash, I got a message they were not accepting new drivers in my area and I would be put on a waiting list. 😪
Amazing video 👏🏿
Thank you. Which app do you drive with?
@@gigworkmama haven't started yet but deciding between uber eats or instacart. Any advice on instacart?
skip doesnt tell u what the food is
Now they don't. It's an inconvenience for sure but it's not the end of the world.
