In fact, your advice misleads many people.
1. Where does China’s camera data come from? There are 4 billion cameras in China? No one can say exactly how many cameras there are in China, but I can tell you that the density of cameras in China’s big cities is no more than in London. China's security does not lie in the number of cameras. If cameras could solve a country's security problems, things would be much simpler. All countries need to do is install cameras. Would installing cameras also solve the problem of homelessness and panhandling? However, there are almost no cameras in rural China, but there are still very few vicious crimes and you will not feel unsafe. In London, which has the highest density of cameras, you can still feel uneasy walking down the street at night.
2. Foreigners entering China do not need to register at the local police station in the city they are visiting. Only when you need to live long-term with relatives and friends, or need to rent a house, you need to register at the police station where you live.
3. When foreigners enter hotels in various cities in China, they must stay in hotels that are qualified to receive foreign guests. This is not only true in Xinjiang, but also in other parts of the country. The hotel has no relationship with the police and the system is not connected to the police department. China has been implementing it since the 1980s. At that time, there were many crimes against foreigners in China. They were robbed, stolen and even killed at various hotels. Therefore, in order to protect the safety of foreigners, China implemented conditional laws in 1983. And well-managed hotels accommodate foreigners.
4. Regarding the Xinjiang issue. In Xinjiang, starting in 2004, the East Turkestan Movement, a terrorist organization designated by the United Nations (the organization is based in Afghanistan), entered Xinjiang and launched dozens of terrorist attacks, causing hundreds of casualties in Xinjiang. Therefore, China is not open to Afghanistan. Connected to the Wakhan Corridor. Xinjiang police did not clash with local Muslims. You also said that China has closed mosques and the Chinese government does not allow religious activities. In fact, mosques in Xinjiang have never been closed, nor have the 30,000 mosques across the country. Some are simply moved elsewhere.
5. If you do your homework before going to China, you will find that you can make cashless payments in China by downloading the international version of Alipay and binding it to a visa or master credit card. Alipay can also be used to book hotels, buy bus and boat tickets. , air tickets. It can also be used to hail a taxi, take the subway, bus and other means of transportation.
I visited China many years ago before mobile payment became the default mode of payment. But is cash still accepted as payment? I understand they cannot reject cash payment but tourists would need to have the exact payment otherwise they may not have the change to return to him?
6. the restriction for public religious activities is not for Muslims only. It is for ANYONE. Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity...
