DON'T DO THIS if you have the unbreakable master sword from the Phantom Ganon glitch. If you try to do this, you will eventually lose the MsgNotFound in the Nachoyah shrine at the end because after you load the Nachoyah shrine, you will be teleported back to the castle, and when you return to the shrine, the MsgNotFound will disappear. The only way to fix it is to finish the Crisis at Hyrule Castle quest first to make the master sword normal again, and then you can start this guide.
I can’t lock the steering shield on the sky after shield stacking portion. What should I do?

Honestly, I just factory reset my switch and completely restarted the game without updates, in order to get the MsgNotFound the easy way.

Unfortunately, like others have mentioned; one of the items has disappeared after loading a new game.
In this case it was the shield - only the sword appeared in the prologue.
I reloaded the in-isa shrine autosave to reposition the items, but the shield remained missing :(
Edit: Finally got it, details in reply
attaching the sword to the top of the shield and making sure its touching the wall in that spot (slightly higher than in the video) worked perfectly and i was able to complete the setup and get the sword into my game! :)

@@gameislifer thanks. It’s super hard but I realized once you stick the steering stick on the air at Nachoya Shrine and the weapon and shield on insa shrine , it’s basically a mini checkpoint. I failed my second attempt at the ganon stage and I used my auto save from nacho shrine and it still has the steering shield on the air so I skipped that.
11:47 the steering stick fell down when trying to unglue the shield and weapon and after reloading the Stick/shield is gone. Gotta start from the beginning i guess?
How do I avoid that it falls down?

Do you keep pressing Y repeatedly as fast as you can or just once after pressing minus? I'm really trying to do this method and FE feels really random and sometimes takes forever to pull off.
@@matthawky6879 keep pressing it until you can stop it while it's on the thing. Doing it once is really hard.

I got to the part where you pick up the weapon and shield in the beginning of the game, and my shield was there but my sword wasn’t. Pain :)
Reload the in-isa shrine autosave again, and just reposition the equipment. After that, load the underground autosave and verify if both pieces of equipment are transmitted. If not, just repeat the repositioning of the equipment until both pieces of equipment appear in the underground
What if the autosave is gone?
Not sure if this would help but when you are on the void, loaded the underground manual save at 133 instead of 134 I unequipped the shield and it didn’t flew far vs when I loaded save at 134 the shield flew far.
Everything works before 17:11, idk why but every single time I go there I don’t get an auto save, I’ve started from the beginning 3 times, and retried the save multiple times but I just don’t get any auto saves for some reason…
I've had something similar, but what it was is that I could only have one autosave. I exited the game without closing it and changed the date, and opened up the game.
For whatever reason, this completely fixed whatever was happening.
Finally did it, thank God. It required many hours and multiple retries and the help of my wife because I'm trash at button mashing 😅 but I did it. I'm only curious about one thing now. How do you get rid of the permanent glow on the MSGNotFound?

At 13:55, if the steering stick sword drops along with the shield and link does not go invisible, can a save be reloaded from just prior to the steering stick fe to restart the steering stick fe at 12:44? Or will we have lost the sword and shield we moved to the intro?
Edit: I was able to reload the save and repeat the step until performed correctly. I made it all the way to the final step, just before reloading Nachoya shrine and accidentally unpaused before reloading. I am hoping to be able to pickup from the shield stack, in hopes all the prior work is still saved.

I solved my own problem. I was un-equipping and re-equipping the weapon during the fuse entanglement. Once I dropped the weapon then equipped and un-equipped another weapon the stick stopped vanishing.
Someone can rep me pls but why to me the steering stick diseapear when i want do the part of switch shield

@@pedroalbuquerque9920 that’s definitely worth a shot, I was about to move a chest and hope that it would stay there
I found a Like-Like that dropped a chest containing a shield after you defeat it, and using that chest the same way will work. To be clear, you don't have to do any glitches involving the Like-Like itself, you just gotta defeat it for its treasure chest. If you've opened all sorts of treasure chests like I have, this is still an option. A gamble since it may have a sword instead, but still.
The coordinates for the cave entrance that had the Like-Like that I used are 2677, 0293, 0095. Said cave had a second Like-Like in it, so if the chest from the first one didn't have a shield in it you can try again. I'm sure there are other caves that are easier to get to, this is just what I found and used.
So when I got the shield I can shield stack but when I load my manual save, the shield stack was gone. What Did I do wrong?
Any sort of way to recover if your steering stick shield falls off the hover stone and into the chasm?
I feel like the smartest thing to do in that situation is to just try and recall it to send it hack up to yourself tbh
The take away from all of this. The Steering Stick is the most busted item in TOTK. I'll try this soon then edit my comment when I get it to work.

I've been at it for days and I have never gotten this far. Could you please tell me what to do? I made it until 20:00 but just when I was about to fuse my weapon to the first steering stick lightning struck and it looks like it destroyed the steering stick because i cannot see it. Should I jus try to make a new FSFE steering stick oder Should I reload from last Akkala ruins autosave ?
Any advice would be really appreciated 😅
wow thats some bad luck. you should be able to just reload your akkala citadel save and restart from there

During the final battle against Ganondorf, the master sword becomes indestructible, is there no way to obtain that version of the indestructible master sword?
My sword keeps falling off the shield when its transported back to the new game :-( The glue vanishes.

unfortunately that can happen, its actually down below and while it is possible to jump down and grab it, i dont think you can make it back up so you probably have to restart

Well, got to 17:40 and it failed a different way, dropped 2x shields ! it only took me 3 days to get that for! :-(

what happens when you mess up the floating stone? i did everything up to that and have an auto save prior to this, but it seems that i cant get the invisible glitch @ 14:06. i messed up my very first attempt at it, now it seems that something isnt right. everytime i do the map rune and drop weapons they just drop and i dont go invisible. did this happen to you?

@@Charleminus3when you get to the chest and open it you have to drop the currently equipped shield and make sure you are fully facing the back of the chest straight and against the wall ( if you drop a random shield it wont retain)

Ive been doing this for the last 3 days and i always fail where i load the new save and the glue that hold the shield and sword disappears and the sword is on the floor while the shield stays. Its happened about 4 times and its always the sword that doesn’t stay connected. When i go back in to the shrine auto save to reposition the sword is gone and if i reload the new game auto save its also gone. I need help with this part pls
To be clear both items do male it to the new game but the sword is on the floor not glued which means after any save reload it disappears
I also tried to just continue and it all works perfect just when i make a new game to manual save the sword is gone 😢
Ok I did the shield stack and I’m at the part I FSE the steering stick to shield however I can’t locked it in the air after loading save (18:56). What am I doing wrong?
it might be because the FE is different. dont re-equip the shield, just unequip and close the inventory.
At 19:50 after i fall through the steering stick and into the lake when i respawn at akkala the steering stick and sword disappear. Are they vital for the next steps or can i move on or repeat that step again
Check around the close area. Same thing happened to me and the stick was lying on the grass next to the stairs.

All these new easier methods are all still 30 minutes and convoluted.
Ut’s all about perspective, this is a lot more compressed compared to those 1-2 hour long tutorials on getting the msg

@@Lujffygear5 unfortunately not, I kept falling through the ground and staying in a soft lock state during that part. I did it enough times to were I became good enough at FSFE though 😅

We need an easier method for dumbos like me who have a skill issue

its gonna take a while but eventually there will probably be an easier method. it could also be easier if you watch a more detailed video with talking and explaining all the steps

The easiest method is to just edit your save file and give yourself 999 of everything without having to do any of these steps. I got 999 of everything and this sword in like 5 minutes.
