Within six months of diagnosis. However, urologist may approach it with MRI or liquid biopsy platforms. If MRI or liquid biopsy marker is abnormal, they would re-biopsy, otherwise may opt for follow up. There are a variety of liquid biopsy biomarkers. Common one include PCA3, 4K score, prostate health index. I have written a whole chapter in the prostate biopsy book on this. If you have access to that book I would suggest you check it out.
