I was fortunate to see Van Halen on their first major U.S. tour opening for Black Sabbath. I've seen a lot of concerts in my life but the original line up was something to behold! Diamond Dave was Untouchable and on top of his game in those early years. I love Sammy with Montrose or on his own but I never bought a Van Hagar album or wanted to see them live. The chemistry of the Original lineup was priceless!

Dave was out of the band by the time I really discovered VH, so what I remember most are all the interviews with the Sammy-era version of the band dumping on Roth. It makes me happy to know that, all these years later, Al and Dave maintain a connection. And it blows my mind that Al can't be bothered to even mention Sammy by name. I can't fully corroborate his story but I met the band after a concert during the "Diver Down" tour in 1982 after a friend of mine got a tip from their photographer while catering an event at the same hotel they were staying at. The "tip" was that they almost always ended up at the hotel bar after the show.
I was 17 & was with my 18 year old brother & the 3 friends I was in a band with, & bro was the only one old enough to walk into the bar but we went there anyway after the concert.
Just before we walked in, a limo pulled up with DLR in it. He got out with a big grin on his face & high fived us all & asked us if we enjoyed the show & then walked in, & we all followed him in. He went to the bar where 2 attractive blonde women already seemed to be waiting for him.
There was almost no one else there. A couple very old people in the dimly lit corners that probably had no idea who the hell VH was, & Ed, Michael & Alex were all sitting around this catoonishly small table that wobbled horribly, in the middle of the mostly empty bar by themselves, drinking draft beer out of glasses, & they kept laughing at all the beer sloshing around on the ridiculously wobbly table. Ed was still in his red/white striped jumpsuit from the concert.
Anyway, we're standing there, like "Holy shit, there they are..." & as we got closer to try to bother them their large bodyguards kinda formed a wall around them, so we didn't push it except my friend goes "Mr. Van Halen can I have your autograph?" (which I find funny now since there were 2 'Mr. Van Halen's there but everyone, including Eddie & Alex, seemed to know who he was addressing as "Mr. Van Halen."at the time)
Suddenly Eddie pokes his head out from behind his bodyguards with that amused smile on his face, looking at us, & he's like "Mr. Van Halen? Wow, these are the most respectful boys ever...c'mon guys, these boys are our fans, let 'em in to talk to us..."
And they did, & they signed their autographs on our own band's flyers & Ed told us our flyers were cool & asked us about our equipment & told us to keep practicing & genuinely was a nice guy to us & went out of his way to be friends with us even if just for 5 minutes, until the bartender finally asked us for ID & threw us out lmao.
My impression was that Alex really didn't seem to want us there, mostly going through the motions of being "friendly" with us young male fans but with a barely contained edge of hostility about him too, as if he was only tolerating us because Eddie was being friendly towards us. Of course I never held that against Alex. We didn't even think they'd really be there so when they were it was awkward because even as 17 year olds we knew we were infringing on their free time by bugging them but we did it anyway once we saw they were actually there heehee.
I'll never forget meeting my guitar hero & then as we walked out to leave my older brother goes "Oh calm down, it's not like they're Led Zeppelin...."
      smh lol.
So I will say that all 4 members were friendly towards us & not overtly drunk or hostile, but I did sense an undercurrent of "Get away boys, ya bothering me" attitude from Alex, which if he was really drunk I could see intensifying that "side" of him.
The funny thing is even if they were all total jerks to us none of us would have cared. They were the Mighty Van Halen. It was all good either way, & none of us would have blamed them. You gotta put yourselves in their shoes, trying to be friendly to every starstruck fan they meet. Can't expect perfection from them every time they meet fans. Most people turn into assholes when they're drunk, & rock stars are no exception & sometimes have bad days too.

Yes, and they were both narcissists. What do narcissists crave more than anything, the spot light. Dave maybe did get them in flight, but it was Eddies continued stardom that caused Dave to leave. When Alex just said, Sammy, are you really that jealous of Ed? What's also funny, Eddie never mentioned Dave wanted to cut his solo time and could have at any time. Now if Dave's "friend" is saying he was jealous, I believe it, hands down. Eddie was and needed to be an egoist!

That bizarre and unique chemistry and 'tension' between Roth and Eddie is what gave that band that unequalled fire-and-ice artistry on those first four albums. They both brought something extremely unique and almost un-marriageable to the table. Alex's stellar drumming and Michael's background vocals helped take it over the top.

Say what you will about David Lee Roth, but as a front man, he was rock 'n roll gold! Flamboyant, sexual, funny, charismatic, a dancing and gyrating fool on stage, confident, and was able to connect with an audience. Sammy Hagar, on the other hand, was B ... O ... R ... I ... N ... G.

Their common history and creative tension seemed to draw the Van Halens and Roth together despite deep seeded mistrust, jealousy and overt hostility. The lack of history with Hagar ment they simply walked away from Sammy after 2004 never to revisit him again. Creative tension did not work between Hagar and VH but it did work with Roth. One of many unexplained things about this band. With the new book and promotional events perhaps we will get some additional background and information on issues such as these.

I had an Epiphone after reading a bunch of articles about Alex Van Helens new book "Brothers"! Alex was the brother and drummer for Eddie's entire career. So, I see Eddie sitting there with all this God given ability. He marries Valerie Bertanelli, my childhood crush from One Day at a Time. Then you look at his son Wolfgang Van Halen, a musical genius in his own right. Eddie didn't talk to the public much, but those two did have to be a bigger reflection of his character than lead singers. Alex didn't say a lot, but it was more than enough. So, he claims David Lee Roth left the band because Eddie wouldn't cut back his solo times. Dave wasn't being seen as "The Man"! He's a jealous frontman. Dare I say a narcissist?? What about Sammy Hagar. All he said to Sammy is, "Are you really THAT jealous of Ed. Again, you won't convince me this was the same exact reason that he left the band. I felt like a soul mate of Eddie. I have a ton of talent, but the jealousy of the MANY narcissists I grew up around were determined to undermine me and make sure I don't find what I'm searching for or accomplish what needs to be accomplished.
Then you can look at Kaitlan Clark. The WNBA star who is THE most popular athlete of any sport this season. They have treated her so badly; she might not even come back is what I here.
So, this message is for my high functioning autistics out there. If you have an idea or project, work on it, but play that shit down. They outnumber the non narcissists it seems, but they are getting easier and easier to spot. Everything I put out gets stolen. I mean I wasn't monetizing; I was just sharing what I consider to be knowledge from higher dimensions. I don't even know if it's possible, but the latest rumor is that they were attempting to keep me in an extreme low vibration, so someone could get close to me and swap destinies. It then seems like not a coincidence; I know who it was. No worries. I don't believe in destiny swapping. But it should be noted that I was without my Adderall for the last two months, and I was depressed for the entire time. But I still got downloads from the highest, and I knew from past experience to just ride it out, so I did.
Remember this kids..... if you want a quick reference to Christianity vs Occultists, ask which one teaches a separation between you and your creator. You're not worthy of it, so you got a proxy. I love Jesus, don't get me wrong, but he didn't save me from Gods wrath, he showed me how to gain direct access and love from TMH. I'm also well versed in translating the real meaning to his parables.
The best news from yesterday was the fact that transparency is the word of the day. The days of celebrity anything, the way it was, is dead and gone! Did you bother to ask why new talent is being singed left and right? There is going to be a huge vacuum, and the opportunity to beat that social anxiety and go act. I want a role in my upcoming biography. I know I have a following; not sure how big it is because I am cloaked to most.
I don't know why people think they can confiscate with not even a thank you. The funny thing about a Narcissist ha-ha, is that they will copy you very precisely. This can come in handy when you want to spread the word to people and you don't care how. They must not know about the invisible time stamp on every document that gets created.
    noahwolflegend.blogspot.com/2024/03/the-quest-in-fall-2010-i-was-sitting-in.html
This is where anyone should start if they want to know about the day TMH reached down and anointed my forehead and sent me on a mission. My whole spiel is already out here piece and parcel all over the Internet. I've been engaged with the online spiritual movement since it first began. It's funny to me because I know about how much of the current truth that is out there originally came from me. Well, a lot came from source and a lot came from my own research experience and of course live experiments.
I saw two days ago about the battle of the Narcissists and Chosen ones, they said. That's not true. It's Narcissists vs any successful non-narcissist. Adhd, autistics, empaths, chosen ones, and I suppose the neuro allistic folks, those without a diagnosis would avoid the narcissist when given info. But Narcs are smooth talkers with the allistic folks. They can be very charming, and I've seen so many get fooled.
I'm going to start publishing more often. None of this is stuff we can afford to not take with all seriousness. In all seriousness, I should have been born slightly left brained like most males. Then my Trauma would have likely made me a narcissist. But somehow, I ended up right brained and the Trauma pushed me further to the spiritual side, and hence my connection with TMH.
THE KING IS IN THE FIELD! What actually happened in 2010 besides getting contacted by TMH, it's the fact that I was contacted with a message from the 6th dimension. I was already spending time in the 5th through heart centering and quieting the left side 3d ruminations. It was my understanding that the connection to bring down the message, that was addressed to me. It was like a beacon with my frequency. Once I started talking about my mother and grandfather and embodied unconditional love, along with the boost in amplitude from my recent ADHD medication. I was told that bridge is indestructible, and it will not be possible to ever disconnect us from our creator access. It's up to you to learn how to navigate if you want access to 6d. That's where I get my info, but I'm not permanently connected. I don't have special access, I just had first access.
God doesn't want to be feared. He wants to be loved just like us. When the last civilization was destroyed, they hid the knowledge and lied to us all about all of it. We didn't know we were already multi-dimensional beings. The 5th dimension is access controlled by our right brain. In the beginning this was all seamless and there was no reason to have the details of how it all worked. Our mind is 4d and exists outside of us physically. If you look in my blog, you'll also find a story about the day I got the download about the dimensions. It's a short story and it's amateur. I hadn't written much yet and I was just about to start my master's program in IT in which I got a 4.0 GPS.
This was the first nail in my narc relationship coffin, as my narc ex apparently was quite jealous of others success too. Even loved ones.

Alex likes Dave. Fine. Whatever. It was his band, he can like and dislike whoever he wants. It’s very obvious that he misses his brother, and I get that. It’s sad and touching and I feel for him. But I also remember an interview he did shortly after Sammy had joined up where he described Dave leaving in terms of having a tooth pulled after a long painful toothache. I’m not a big VH fan, but the first VH record blew me away due to Eddie’s guitar work. Dave was a showman for sure and back then he was even a passable singer. Sammy was what they needed after Dave’s ego exploded, like shifting into the next gear. After that, fits and starts. Gary Charone? Nah. Extreme - absolutely. VH? No. Return of DLR? Dave can’t sing anymore and he’s an embarrassment shuffling around the stage tugging up his droopy drawers like an old man. (Okay, he IS an old man, I get it.) Sammy can still rock, but he’s not in his prime anymore either. Move on, y’all. VH is no more. Now they’re selling half reunion/half tribute tours and memoirs. What’s next, VH adult disposable diapers?

VH brothers are never satisfied and don’t like anyone but themselves. Great music, musicianship, and innovation. Best party band of all time.

VH captured lightening in a bottle - twice. Not many bands are that successful going with a new singer. I like music. I don't care about image and lifestyle. And there were some killer tunes in the Hagar era.

Sam Halen was a mall crowd band. Sammy was corny, got fat, sounds drunk and couldn't write lyrics. Dave was a poet and in very good physical shape. Eddies solos are way better with Dave and Van Halen had an edge.

They should’ve kissed Sammy’s backside because until he came on the scene they never had a #1 hit. Sammy tried to bring them on with Cabo Wabo and they didn’t want it. So sad they could have been so much more, but drugs.

So was Sammy. They hired him, and I'm sure made tons of money and cashed the checks the 10 years Hagar was in the band. The VH brothers sound like the problem to me, not the singers.

Haggar might have had better vocals in the technical sense, but Dave did write better melodies and his lyrics seemed to fit perfectly whereas Hagir's lyrics were bubblegum and below standard. Samy will forever be known as a replacement. And he's pissed at that. And I am glad.
