I love the fact that she cries too, because that's when it becomes obvious that they are two sides of the same coin. They are both broken, neither feels loved or cared for, they never ask for help and they both have problems with showing vulnerability.
I have to admit it was their best scene. Megan did an awesome job in this scene. James said little but all was written in his face. I'm kinda torn between what I want them to be be father/daughter or actually a couple. At first I love the idea of Father/daughter since I loss my father and was moved by the show. Then I read some fans wanting them to be a couple read some articles of James not wanting it becuz it will be so predictable, megan calling blacklist a love story that I was a little upset they could take the story in that direction. At this point I'm here for the journey and no matter what it turns out to be LOVE the way Red loves Lizzy. Nice to feel that sensation of protection love loyalty!
i m convinsted from the begining that he is not her father..let alone in love with her. But the loss of her father, obviously is depected on their relastionship and that scene made it pretty obvious to me...and i think it's very touching
there is 0% change they would ever turn this into a "romantic" thing, even if he is not her biological father, he saved her when she was 4 years old from that fire, he gave her to Sam to raise her, he watched over her and sent them money for her to live well and study...even after she became an adult he STILL watched her everystep, made his whole plan to enter her life again... He lost his daughter, if she is not that child, he put all his love, protectiveness and dreams on her as his lost child. He loves her as her father, just like Sam did even he didnt raise her himself.
I think Megan Boon doesn’t get enough credit for her good acting. Her character can become irritating as the series progresses, but one should’ve confuse an unlikeable character with bad acting. Also, most actors would pale in comparison to James Spader, but she does hold her own.
@sharyn Inventor......She did come back in the last season 8 episode, didn't she? She realized how much she loved him, that he was family to her, (and Agnes) in some way......Then, at the end of her life review, she finally realized who he is......Heartbreaking. Wish they hadn't sent Megan off that way. I'm still trying to recover.
This was a good scene. My favorite scene was when liz went back to the ship(in a different episode) and was going to clean up the blood. Red was their being firm with her and she looks at him and says "whats wrong with me" he gets this shocked look on his face goes and kisses her forehead and hugs her and tells her "their is nothing wrong with you" in that moment I just knew they were father and daughter
Every time I see them my heart breaks again. I can’t believe that she died 😢 it was the first time that I got into depression and seeing her in this role still sends me back to that time but if I don’t watch her in this role it feels like something is missing 💔😢 Rest In Peace Elizabeth 🙏🏾👼
Thank you for posting this :) This scene just broke my heart. I don't even think she can say that to Red. And the way Red look at her then say " Never do that again".. Oh, Red loves her n cares about her so so so much.. Great episode. Fantastic scene ♥♥
Magnificent video! This is the best Lizzington scene in my opinion to date. The raw, deep intense emotions, the chemistry and unconditional love between them came to the surface here in such a way that the so called father/daughter scenario was blown completely out of the water. It is no way that I would ever believe that Red is Liz father. They would have made a lovely romantic couple on screen.LIZ&RED FOR LIFE!
Ehhh, the point went way over Liz's head here, eh? It's not about accepting help from people, he couldn't care less if the entire Irish brigade stormed the place, he didn't want HER there because she put her life at risk. Geezes, girl, get with the program.

Great observation!!
Thats the most incorrect observation and character analysis I've ever seen

I loved too that scene..and the actress did it really well
Yeah. Both of them did it really well. James and Megan, they're such wonderful actors

Can't hear what is said with that damn music being so loud!
Its not that he doesnt want to be safe, he doesnt want HER to put herself in danger for him. He cant lose... we love protective father!
Protective mother. He is Katarina Rostova.
We need something like this in S8. Come back Liz! The good. Kind. Decent-Elizabeth Keen xxx

This scene I watched over and over again loved it thought it was sweet and funny
Lizzie is sooo cute ❤❤❤😍😍😍
One of the greatest scenes in the recent shows. Both are great actors.
Yes. They are doing a really great job. Spader *is* Raymond Reddington! And Megan is soooo cute ❤...

Why do people have to romanticize anything, their relationship is purely father / daughter 😊😊
@@trex6230He is her mother!
he just tell her never becasu he is her father i don want her in danger
This is my favorite scene of Liz and Red...
What episode is this?
I just saw this - i'm crying.
Ehhh, the point went way over Liz's head here, eh? It's not about accepting help from people, he couldn't care less if the entire Irish brigade stormed the place, he didn't want HER there because she put her life at risk. Geezes, girl, get with the program.
Yeah and she told him she risked her life because she cared about him ... slow enough ?🤦
Could someone please remind me what she did to help him? I’ve been past this episode for awhile.
Music is too loud! Many viewers doesn’t have english as first language, it can be hard to hear exactly what they are saying.
My favorite show sense came out
This is the reality for alot of men. No help needed
they are definitely not father / daughter
Michael Clifford watched the season 4 finale
You are so wrong with that xD
they 100% father and daughter... even if he is not her biological father, I still think he can be.
They're definitely father and daughter
