As for how safe these actually are, we can't really comment on that unless we crash them. We would rather not do that ;-)

Dzire is just the worst when compared with the Aura and Amaze ..!! Worst build quality .. outdated...I don't know how you gave gave it in the end..! 🙄 And you guys forgot the Aspire one of the best in this segment.
No aspire in the review. 😐 It's the most fun to drive. Best sub 4 metre would have the engine of diesel Aspire/ 1.0l turbo petrol of hyundai, handling of Aspire, design of Amaze, interior of Hyundai, reliability of a Toyota.
Apart of handling there is no reason to buy aspire..outdated interiors,no new features, outdated speedo console and no led projecter headlamps etc much more..aspire is dated now

Amaze is the only compact sedan that has paddle shifters but in a middle trim this automatic variant exists. Has no projector headlamps like dzire. The aura with it’s turbo is newest but still has to prove it’s ground on long term usage. Dzire gives the most package but ruined by the build quality if someone cares of 😅. But in midst of all this ford’s figo aspire is forgotten. I wish someone makes a car that’s tough especially safer. If maruthi atleast makes the dzire 3 star ncap safe it’ll show maruthi is listening.
Saiyan God yeah the tigor is pretty good. I've experienced it for a little time. the music system was just good for a stock car. it had good creature comforts but especially the service in my area sucks and tata hardly survives here at my place. on that same day i saw two people from North india who were on a trip having their nexon under brake down and stranded for days. then I understood tata needs not small but huge improvements in the service area. i understand tata cars are safe but they need support!

It's a sub 4m car. No number of stars is going to save you if you go with a head on collision in such a small cheap car. Maybe if you go crash against a wall then sure. Also, the Hyundai also scores pretty much the same. The amaze is the only relatively safe car in this segment.
Completely agree on the point why you chose these 3 cars, based on the popularity. However I don't understand why TATA Tigor is not that popular even after being a looker and having almost all creature comforts. Cant really understand the reason.

Haven't driven Aura but have driven the rest , including Figo . I own a diesal amaze . The only drawback with it is higher NVH levels compared to Figo aspire diesal . It is difficult to choose between Amze and Figo Aspire . (Dzire was ruled out pretty much quickly since it had way too less power and the costliest of the lot) I finalized the decision and chose to buy Amaze since the design was more agreeable to my family . In time , I came to love that car even though it wasn't my daily driver . There is something about the engine ........ less gimmicks......we feel the machine . The way it pulls ....and it's in gear acceleration.....was better any other car in my home . Also , there is something about this car ...the way it feels and drives....that gives us a glimpse of that glorious JDM world we all used to dream about ! Maybe..... honda carried over it's golden legacy into this so called 'bland ' car....and u don't discover it immediately.....but only when u dig deeper .

I recently got tigor amt.... I feel it’s good reasonably priced, I test drove all these cars. Amaze was out of my budget.. the oly thing in tigor is the tail section is lifted up which makes it look kinda weird
PowerDrift I was able to drive the car oly for a week. Then the lockdown started. So for now car is idle in the parking spot. For tht 1 week car has been good, just waiting for the break in time to finish & finish the first service. Btw thanks a lot for asking 😊🙏
The real challenge is when you have to repair the car without a hole in your pocket and resell the car to get your wallet loaded with money. Not kidding.
@@powerdriftofficial First of all a sedan is not at all my choice. But a Maruti can easily be maintained for 10 years with a 2 lakh km on board. But selling the Hyundai before reaching 80k km and the Honda before reaching 100k km in a span of 6-7 years would be a wise decision no matter how well you maintain it.

We hear you. Makes sense to add the Ford to the list. The way we see it is that we brought them together because they roll off the floors the most. The Aspire is a great car, no doubt, and personally one of my favourites because of that diesel lug!

Perfect Comparison between the prominent cars in this segment, this is only video I could find which offers this content. Edit: Here, after the video. IMO, too much chatter. Could have more content if they are taking on some great comparisons. I'm glad that they wanna entertain us while giving us good content but this video could be done very much better on the content side if you ask me.
The Aspire seems to be missing in popularity when it comes to sales figures Anand the three here are the ones that roll out of showroom floors the most but we’ll surely try and include it the next time around and see how it stacks up.
I am not impressed that you guys didn't talk about safety... As auto journalist that should be your top priority to make ppl away off ... Secondly the reasons you gave in comments section, when ppl pointed it out , are absolutely silly. We don't expect you to crash test them but atleast show what rating they have got from testing organization. If you as journalists are not pushing highest selling manufacturer to provide safety then what's the point. Anyone can go and check sales figures ... Show what's ignored mostly.. I rest my case.

Yup, pretty good car there but most go for the Dzire or Amaze or the Aura, hence the comparo and omission of the Aspire. Tell us your pros for the Aspire and we might decide to include it next time around.
I dont want to be controversial over here, but one of the factors of making these cars highest selling are the reviews. Reviewers dont even consider other options. Reviewers should review all the cars then only people will be able to make the decisions. Then selling numbers will reflect.
Reviews are one aspect of a purchase decision but people buy what they deem fit as VFM. If reviewers were such influencers in buying decisions then we’d be minting money sitting at home and just advising people but that’s definitely not the case. 😄

Bro why didn't India have a proper off-road culture like 4x4 or even dual-sport bikes culture considering our population and road conditions since independence a lot of the time we don't have proper road's then dual-sport bikes should make a lot of sense then why didn't we have feature rich high performance dual sport bikes in India even Nepal has good Enduro biking culture and our Indian brands didn't even focus on it untill Hero Impulse 150 , RE himalayan 410 , Hero Xpulse 200 which are very few options compared to other bike market's and even too little for our big bike market Dual sport bikes makes more sense for our Indian road and weather conditions , why didn't we have high performance bikes in Indian Market ???
Hyundai Aura doesn't have Front Adjustable Headrest, Honda Amaze doesn't have a rear adjustable Headrest and Maruti Dzire is a Tin Can. Seems like there is no perfect car!!

Safety my man, people look elsewhere for the safety. I seriously love the design and the ride of the dzire. But i wouldn't trust my family inside that car. Tide's very slowly changing for Maruti. They need to really stop making cardboard boxes and concentrate on safety.
Dzire, even if not the best car out there, is an alrounder. Maruti knows the taste of mass very well actually. Only if they took care of safety standards too. 😭
People ate buying Dezire just because it's a Maruti Suzuki product they don't consider comfort and other things even the safety. We hear you. Makes sense to add the Ford to the list. The way we see it is that we brought them together because they roll off the floors the most. The Aspire is a great car, no doubt, and personally one of my favourites because of that diesel lug!

Is the steering any different compared to NIOS/Aura non-Turbo variants?
Not really, it still lacks feedback but the difference comes from the slightly retuned suspension of the Turbo Aura that makes it more responsive.

Yup, pretty good car there but most go for the Dzire or Amaze or the Aura, hence the comparo and omission of the Aspire. Tell us your pros for the Aspire and we might decide to include it next time around.

The DZire, Amaze and Aura are the highest-selling cars in the segment, so we decided to go with them :)
I dont want to be controversial over here, but one of the factors of making these cars highest selling are the reviews. Reviewers dont even consider other options. Reviewers should review all the cars then only people will be able to make the decisions. Then selling numbers will reflect.
Reviews are one aspect of a purchase decision but people buy what they deem fit as VFM. If reviewers were such influencers in buying decisions then we’d be minting money sitting at home and just advising people but that’s definitely not the case. 😄

Bro why didn't India have a proper off-road culture like 4x4 or even dual-sport bikes culture considering our population and road conditions since independence a lot of the time we don't have proper road's then dual-sport bikes should make a lot of sense then why didn't we have feature rich high performance dual sport bikes in India even Nepal has good Enduro biking culture and our Indian brands didn't even focus on it untill Hero Impulse 150 , RE himalayan 410 , Hero Xpulse 200 which are very few options compared to other bike market's and even too little for our big bike market Dual sport bikes makes more sense for our Indian road and weather conditions , why didn't we have high performance bikes in Indian Market ???
Hyundai Aura doesn't have Front Adjustable Headrest, Honda Amaze doesn't have a rear adjustable Headrest and Maruti Dzire is a Tin Can. Seems like there is no perfect car!!

@@abhikdas5518 May be because of these reviews where they never mention such awesome cars. On the other hand when people go out on road they all they see is Maruti and automatically cars like Aspire never came into their minds.
Safety my man, people look elsewhere for the safety. I seriously love the design and the ride of the dzire. But i wouldn't trust my family inside that car. Tide's very slowly changing for Maruti. They need to really stop making cardboard boxes and concentrate on safety.

Dezire - refinements, really?, I learnt annoying sneak & rattleness of cabin from dezire & other MS cars, even on a very tired day of work in the cabs, which doesn't let me dreaming of sleep also
