Latest progress from Wingfield Station, summer 2023

This video shows the latest progress with our restoration project at the Grade II* Wingfield Station, near Alfreton, Derbyshire.
In the station building, the modern concrete floors were broken out ready for the installation of a new floor. This consists of a glass foam aggregate base, with limecrete screed over with underfloor heating and floor service boxes and trunking within.
The capital works are expected to complete in October 2023.
