It was odd though since my zRank was at a 4 and store completion was 70% for years. Is it because of my random sales that I got that made my rank a 4 already? I followed your steps and got to 100% in no time. I appreciate you posting this and I look forward to seeing if it impacts my sales going forward.
Glad it was helpful! You're the second person to say they got to a zrank4 without doing the shop completion, so I guess you can get up there without doing it, but this is an easy way to boost your zrank regardless, which will help shop visibility overall.
Once you create a collection in your store how do you change it from active to inactive? It looks like it automatically goes active when you create it.
If you don't want it to show up in your shop, go into the collection and on the right hand side, under Collection Channels there is an option called "Your Stores" click on that and you can disable it (top right) and it won't show up in your shop for customers. But other than that, I don't think there's a way to make it inactive exactly.
Another question and thank you for the videos! When I marked a collection as active and added products it is showing as “private” how do I make the collection public? It shows active in my store…I am thinking perhaps because I changed it from inactive to active and it needs time to show up?
Im finding a BUNCH of pro shops that have no collections or just a couple of them, and their shops arent super complete looking. how are they at the top of search?
Ok. I am on 4, but I didn't complete my shop. I will do it tomorrow. My other shop is on 5. How do you get a higher ranking. I read it is up to 10. I love your content 😊
I believe it depends on how many products you have in your shop that are selling, but it's not totally clear and mostly just speculation. I wouldn't get too hung up on Zrank other than getting the shop completed as that's an easy way to boost it.
Hi, first of all thanks for your content. Very helpful. I wanted to let you know that, from watching a number of your videos, I have noticed that the sound is sometimes not balanced. As I'm listening to this video, for example, it is only going through my right earphone, and I came directly from another video of yours in which the sound was fine for both ears. I think it's something you need to look into because it is quite off putting, and I've encountered it quite a few times on your channel. Sometimes it's the left ear that plays and not the right. Bottomline is that both ears don't project sound on some of your videos, suggesting that the sound balance is off (sorry I dont know the technical details and terms, but I'm sure you can find out and fix it). And by the way, I don't have that problem with other RUclipsrs. Also when an ad comes up in the middle of the video, the sound goes back to being ok for that, like I've just experienced. So it's definitely not a problem with my headphones. I've also tried more than one pair of headphones with your videos, when the sound goes funny like that, and the problem remains, whereas the headphones work perfectly fine for other videos. So it's definitely not my headphones - everything points to an audio balance problem with your videos. Hope it helps letting you know. Tough to say without seeing them first hand, but chances are those shops have still finished all of the steps for completion.
