- Hey guys! Today we're testing a VIRAL messy bun updo. This video is by Torie Bliss on Instagram & TikTok. Torie shows this hairstyle with short hair. I'm going to try to recreate this updo on my fine, long hair. Spoiler, I had to alter this messy bun updo because it wasn't working well with my long hair. That came out very cute actually! I will try it. My hair is even longer than yours so I often have issues copying these styles and end up fooling around to see if I can make them work with mixed success. Thanks for showing it getting stuck lol. That made it very realistic for me! :)

Those hair ties…I have a love/hate relationship ship with. They’ve tangled so badly in my hair (thick, curly) that even with patience detangling I had to cut hair to get them out.
Cute hairstyle, but sometimes those topsy flips make my head hurt. 😂
Oh I get it!! Make sure when you do a topsy tail, to remove it, you put your hair back through the hole. But I get it, topsy tails can be the devil Lol

They always look good, but I struggle with the taking down and end up a tangled mess.
I get it! Make sure if you do a tospy tail, that you take it out properly (putting your hair back through the hole!)
You seem to love Clear elastics. Every time I try to use them, they pull my hair. Any suggestions?
I use mykitsch. They're very stretchy. Definitely have to use the right kind. I've been through a lot of them and they're all so different! Some pull on hair more than others.
I love the look! But I would think it is rather hanging off the head so somewhat heavy with long hair?
My hair is fine, so I don't have that trouble, but i could see how it couldn't work with thicker hair, for sure.

Is it stressful taking your hair out when it is up like that?
No! It all depends on the elastics you use and how tight your doing your ponytails. Just remember when you do a topsy tail, that you can't just try to rip out your hair tie. You have to put your hair back through the hole. Trust me Lol I've ripped plenty of hair out!!!

Thanks for asking! I wouldn't say a trip with children is ever relaxing LOL! A lot of building sandcastles, digging holes, and playing in the ocean, but hey, kids keep us young (or so they say!)!
