I come from a family of non-fishers. Not even my distant kin fish. Your dad and a few of the others (Dance, Houston, etc) in the 70s-80s pretty much taught me how to fish via TV shows and magazines. And now I'm just turning 60 I'm still learning from you Scott. Please keep up the amazing work that you do so future generations can continue to learn from you.
Man I love you guys and Scott, I'm sure you know this but I'm gonna remind you. You better thank God Almighty every single day that you still have your mom and dad with you☝️🙏 You're so stinking blessed and they're not just a mom and dad; they're great parents and great people.

I have watched hundreds of fishing videos this one is the best yet. I wish I could have fished with my daddy he was killed in a commercial fishing accident in Cortez FL when I was four years old but my grandpa sure taught me everything I needed to know about being a great fisherman And the one thing that you will always catch on every fishing trip is a boat load of memories!!!

Just wanted to say how amazing this is I watched Roland Martin with my grandfather when I was a kid watched Scott Martin growing up and now been watching Scott Martin with his daughter Hillary just amazing fishing in the blood love you guys
That is awesome too see you and your dad together on your home lake ( Okeechobee) .I was born in Tampa and my father lived there with his father and they got to fish Florida in the late 50s and 60s when Florida wasn't so built up it was amazing to listen to the stories of the big bass and other fish they caught. Heck my mother use to wade and fish with my dad in the ponds and when the gators would swim to close she would slap them in the head with the fishing pole to get them to swim away. My mom has been passed for 30yrs and dad passed 11yrs ago so its awesome seeing yins fishing together enjoy every minute of it Scott and Roland love watching you.
What a blessing to be able to fish with your father. Your a lucky man Scott. Cherish these moments.

I was born and raised in Palm Beach County and was raised Bass fishin in Clewiston, Belle Glade, and all the rest of Lake Okechobee I've fished at as well. It's a lot of fun. Thank you Scott and your dad Roland for fishing together. It's awesome to see. Take care and be safe out there.

I met Roland in Clewiston at a restaurant there about 33 years ago, and yourself on the lake during a Big Bass Tournament about 22 years ago. I haven't forgotten either chance meeting, and ya'll changed my mind about professional bass fishing for the better since those days. Love ya'll ❤

I grew up idolizing your dad Bill dance Jimmy Houston they made me the bass fisherman that I am today . I would give my right arm to spend the day in the boat with Mr Roland or either of the other 2 gentlemen I mentioned . It would definitely be the trip of a lifetime.

That was a special trip father and son, dynamic dual, every cast bringing in tanks, good Ole Lake O always gives us some hope the ones up north might get that big some day. "hey is always good to dream" Waiting on the next trip.
I'm from West Virginia and we ain't catching ten pounders but we got the small mouth action! A 6 pound smally will fight every bit as hard as a 10 pound largemouth!!
I grew up watching Roland an Bill fishing . I had the privilege of meeting Roland at an FLW tournament on lake Okeechobee hes a very nice guy .
