- The Fat Lady portrait swung forward to reveal a round hole in the wall. They all scrambled through it - and found themselves in the Gryffindor common room, a cozy, round room full of squashy armchairs. *CLICK TO VIEW MORE*
The common room, in Gryffindor Tower, is a circular room where Gryffindor students can relax after a long day of studying. It is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. The common room is decorated in several shades of red, which is associated with the house.
Harry, Ron and Hermione can often be found here, hanging out, playing Wizard chess or studying, wouldn't you want to join them? I can almost hear Ron's grunting as he writes a super hard essay assigned by Snape...And why did that cozy fire just turned green, is someone trying to get in touch? ;)

Have you been incorporating whispers? In the Shrieking Shack, I could've sworn I heard nervous breathing in my ear at some points. In this video I hear inaudible whispers, like gossiping teens maybe?

At 7.30 when the snow began to fall outside of the window, I got that same rush of excitement that I get when that happens for real. We don't see much snow in the part of England that I am from and I miss it (it used to snow more back in my childhood...global warming huh!), so thank you thank you. Obviously the other aspects are awesome as well. Thank you so much for your hard work.xx

StephieAck We must be from (sort of) the same region because this was my exact experience yesterday! The snow hit us at just before 9 and it was so magical I didn't want to finish my walk to work.

Your videos and sounds are ALWAYS such high quality! I listen to them all the time when I'm at home, work, doing my makeup, anytime really. I love how you change you the sound effects throughout the video rather than just playing the same clip on loop for an hour like most other ambience videos. There's just something about the Gryffindor common room, the red & gold decor, the crimson upholstery, the warm glow of the golden lamps, the sight of snow falling softly outside the windows and the perpetual sound of logs crackling in the fireplace all remind one of Christmas. As if the Gryffindor common room is always in a state of Christmas!

I was wondering nif one day you could make maybe a quidditch pitch video? not when there is a game going on, maybe when there is training, or tryouts. as my school actually has the muggle version of quidditch (you have to be more fit to do it as you have to run a lot) i think i would really enjoy whatever you make of it.

I'm trying to get really immersed in this, since I'm studying at night, and I'm a griffindor. I have this in the background while listening to one of my Japanese lectures and I was getting a little distracted by the quill. Melanie S Sorry, I’m only just now seeing this! Yes I’m a Ravenclaw! And I know what you mean. Most people consider rain to be ugly and depressing but I love it. Especially heavier rain. It’s just so invigorating to me while also being soothing. I like most “ugly” weather tbh -dark overcast days, colder temperatures, rain, etc. Who knows, maybe it is a house thing? haha

Ive been a hufflepuff for 3-4 years and retook Pottermore on new years and it said im a Gryffindor, so mixed options right there😂 idk what to be?😂 do i rebel or am i a Gryffindor?
I have had trouble with that too. When I was 10/11 I got a Gryffindor, but then I retook it a few years later and got Slytherin... then I retook it and got Hufflepuff... But I am just going to stick with Gryffindor because it was around the age I would've gotten sorted.
