Thesis is amazing, I actually think even thesis knew he lost. Look at his expression after Menno's last 2 throw downs, especially the last one. If Thesis can admit that he didn't do good enough to beat Menno, I don't see why people are pissed he lost. He's won so many other times, so what?
Besides, I don't see anyone showing any appreciation for the originality both B-boys are bringing to the scene. People just calling other people sh*t and waving pitchforks are what I'm seeing most of the time.
That was actually kind of difficult to judge.
Thesis beat killed the whole time and had a dope flow the whole time and still lost...
I think Menno reached the level that his sets look sloppy, but need incredible strengh, body balance and endurance to perform. I think his transition is clean and flows like a water. I think this was good final between two masters of transition.
After a while of not seeing Menno winning much of the big named battles, I'm glad to see he's still driven and keeping up the good work and creativity. These are two of the most creative bboys in my book, the came hard which made for a dope battle. Respect.
Man! I thought Thesis won that for sure. He had so much more style (in my opinion) then Menno and his flow was just so perfect. If the judges saw something from Menno which i didnt (which is probably what happened), then I would stand corrected. I still think Thesis won, but congrats to Menno. In the end, they both get loved.
I think that Thesis, Niek, and ALcolil woulde deserve to be BC1 all star!!!
Niek and Thesis probably not (IMO) but I think Alcolil could but would probably turn it down
How times have changed, 2013 some people frowned upon Menno's unique style. Fastforward 3 BC One championships later and Menno is now considered 1 of the most legendary breakers of all time with his next level originality, god-tier flow and crazy details. The masses caught up

to be fair, in 2013-14 even tho he was winning titles, his own performance in battles was way more stiffer and sloppier and the judging was questionable

Thesis was rocking every beat while menno wasnt as much and I found thesis' moves a lot more dynamic than that of menno's. Not only that it was quite unique and had more originality. To me Thesis won this easily..
No hate on Thesis, he's dope and original too, but you do realize that almost every move Menno threw were his own? Menno is pure originality. Plus, you can't mess with that flow.

I'd say tb 1st round Menno 2nd round draw 3rd round Thesis. Menno brought more energy but, a lot of his sets tend to consist of the same thing. Thesis was more well rounded but seemed gassed and had a few mess ups in his 1st round. Close battle though!

Definitely two of the top contenders. I think Menno for sure. He's won too much to ignore. I would expect them to invite a special Korean guest now that it's finally making it's way there, though...

Yano it's just that menno won with the overall energy he was presenting to the crowd and the judges. Both artists were super duper fresh and hitting it, doing their things but If you look at both energies you can feel thesis wasn't as the same level of energy that menno was at! I think the judge's could really feel menno came to win and thesis did too but in terms of how they presented themselves. thesis was a little bit more fatigued and I definitely felt that! All in all this was a dope battle

You know what would have made this battle waaaawy more enjoyable. Definitely the music!!! It feels like the music really limited the energy and overall feel for the final. In my opinion the music was aite but would've given these artist a more enjoyable atmosphere and the crowd their money's worth
Thesis didn't come close to winning this one guys. I'm a huge Thesis fan but he repeated a ton and his last 2 sets weren't as strong. Menno did great and there were a few repeats but Menno's floor work and flow over powered Thesis this time. Overall, good job to both bboys for killin it.

i8myrice2day2 Transition and foundation are NOT considered repeats...it's like calling out a repeat for top rocking twice. All of Thesis's sets are different.
Also when you're talking about Thesis it's not a matter of riding anymore...he's unarguably good.
Kitora Siebzehn I know hes good... but if you were the judge who would you have given the win to? But you have to remember using the same transitions and repeating freezes isnt gonna help you win buddy. That's what Thesis did I never stated he repeated his top rock... or talking about his foundation.... He repeated a lot of moves... YOU don't see it throughout the competition because his flow is good at hiding it but he did man... that's why he lost. Menno was on fire this competition.

I'm def a Thesis fan and don't know much about Menno, but Thesis definitely looked tired for a lot of that. His sets were shorter than his normal. I could have seen that going either way. Just depends on the judges.

If i have to pick between the two , i would go with menno too, honestly, Bc one is viewed as the ultimate world one vs one final, but the truth is the whole system is commercial and unfair, what i really think is that there should be no direct invites to begin with, all the 16 bboys should come from qualifiers, i hope another competition with a fair selection system replaces bc one, right now it's a joke, bboys shouldn't support it until they fix the system.

I sadly have to give this battle to Menno. Not just because I'm a big Thesis fan but, because I don't like Menno style. Lately Menno has been all about the tricks, he just rolls and slides a cross the floor no foot work or musicality.
