The meaning of Al-Karim which I've learned a bit more than that. Al Karim contains: The One who suspend the sin until the sin was done, even though He can write it right away. And give one good deed if that man decided not to do that sin because of Allah. The One who gave more than that we asked. And few more scope.
Allah SWT has infinite names. We are revealed only 99 of His names each of which tells us His abilities. 99 of His names suffice to sustain the whole universe and all the livings in it. There will be more of His attributes revealed in Paradise for a greater bliss for people who will be in Paradise.
