Hello, I apologize but I have an one more question about our communication bellow. I have Compax3 parker device: C3 S150 V4 F10 C0 T11 M00. F10 = resolver, C10 = integrated controller, T11 = positioning via digital I/O. I have tried unplug ethernet connection between parker and HMI. Normal mode: HMI displays informations: HMI version: xxx xxx and SW version: xxx xxx. Unplug mode: HMI version: the same as normal mode but SW version - information is empty. My question... Is program for controlling and visualizion screens inside Compax3? Is possible upload the program from parker device? I have tried it but I have got only config. Thanks a lot
C10 is a plmc. You’ll need to use C3 ServoManager to upload. Full details see the online help file. To see/modify the controller, you’ll need to install Codesys v2.3 and the plmc targets. community.parker.com/technologies/electromechanical-group/electromechanical---industrial/w/electromechanical-knowledge-base/297/compax3-software---t30-t40---how-do-i-add-c3-iec-library-how-do-i-install-change-targets-5830-3740-errors Solutions.Parker.com/c3_support
@@JoHoMoCo Thank you very much for the link. I modified Codesys and then I have tried upload the configuration data and the program from controller. When I used the new version C3Mgr (09-81) only the configuration was uplaod. When I used the old version (09-68) configuration was upload and then a message appeared: The loaded project was created with a never C3Mgr version! As it is possible that will not work with this version without adjustment. Is it other way how to upload or download program to/from controller?
Hello, I have a other question, I have a problem, when I upload Compax 3 servo drive I upload config parametrs from servo but I don´t get any bid for upload codesys project. Is it a mistake for my side? Could you help me? Thanks a lot
Look at online device identification. Is it configured as a t30 or t40? Or was it configured as a T10 or T11? If it’s a T10 or T11, there won’t be a CoDeSys program.
Thanks your quickly answer. Yes device was configured as T11. It mean, the device is use as positioner T11 and feedback F10 as resolver. The device /home position, speed, acceleration, etc is controlled from a master cotrol system? For new Compax 3 servo driver suffices download only .cfg file which I uploaded from old device? P.
The T11 is a simple indexer and everything is in the drive configuration file (.c3p file). Only the T30 or T40 use CoDeSys v2.3 (as an offline programmer tool, with the .pro file -- in addition to the drive's .c3p config file) So yes, if you've uploaded from the old Compax3, connect the new one and then download, you're good to go. The new part number will need to match the drive configuration in the software. Someone could've bought a T30 but then decided to use it as T11 and dumb it down in the software. So it could be T30 or T40 printed on the side of the C3 but used as a T11 or T10. Sometimes that gives programmers flexibility if the spec hasn't determined what all the drive needs to do. Or if someone needs a spare T10 and have a T40, you can dumb it down to the T10 base drive and voila -- rather than having a lot of different configurations. The power level and F feedback need to match (S063V2F12IxxTxxMxx) though as the current & voltage are based on the hardware and the F feedback is either resolver F10 (or Stegmann) or incremental encoder F12 (or EnDat)

If it's a new Compax3, it includes newest firmware, which requires latest version of C3 ServoManager solutions.parker.com/C3_support C3 ServoManager can talk to older Compax3s though as well.
i am facing an error at this point when loading the configuration , the communication is established fine. auto detect is working fine but cannot upload it says could not load template 9 v 20 - could not execute function

Hello, I have a question, I had a problem “error when saving to flash” when i try download the configuration. Could you help me?
try downloading the latest version of c3servomanager from parker.com

That’d indicate it’s custom. What’s the part number of the drive or is this a PLmC (C10 or C20)?
