I'll agree, but the 2ks weren't anything to sneeze at either. Some sick stuff came out in that decade, plus the much needed resurgence of extreme music getting more attention again. 🤘
Not only his vocals, but his stage presence and in between song banter can be equaled by few. I've seen these dudes 20 times, 15ish w Fank, and they have been on point every time I've seen them. Quality and consistency are two words I'd use to describe this band.
@@stormchas3r yeah. Coney Island High was my place to go for Metal shows. I'd be there almost every week. I met the guys from Vader, Krisiun, Malevolent Creation, Deicide, Crowbar, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Skinlab and so many more during that time. I miss that place still to this day. 🤘🤘

That bass sound❤. Like a chainsaw cutting away into flesh. That is why the basguitar is so essential in death metal.
I didn’t even know despise the sun came out in 98’ when it was on streaming it said it came out in the 2000’s. This must’ve been gnarly as hell in 98’
