Very cool demo. The Boom has me intrigued. I’m a bit late to viewing this, and this maybe the most stupid crazy question, but I’m interested to know if you can plug your pedals / board into it and use say an amp-cab simulator like a Walrus Audio ACS1 or UA amps in boxes, or Benson Preamp? I’m not anti using software, I kind of like to stick to what I know. I used to use Line 6
Hi David! Yes there are a bunch of presets you can select from on the ECS Channel strip. We have a variety of presets that Bob Clearmountain made for both female/male vocals and all kinds of instruments.
@@tweakerofknobs I don't know--I've seen more surprising firmware fixes. But yeah I'm sure tons of folk bounce between headphones and speakers while mixing. I know I do.
Does it also have the option to use batteries? Cause we all know how reliable iBatteries are. Even if this doesn’t drain a lot of the iDevice’s battery, that doesn’t matter if your iPad or iPhone’s about to die cause it shows 78% charge which means it’ll drop to 2% in 5 seconds.
Quite a few purple things on the room 😊
Haha I have always loved purple.

Oh I don't know why you wouldn't be able to do that! Seems super straightforward
What are you using to create a powered usb setup between the boom and the ipad?
Great!
Great demo. Has the Apogee Symphony ECS Channel Strip got default settings for vocals and instruments? Thanks very much.

@@apogeedigital thanks for hopping in!

@@GetOffset You're welcome.
I like it but I hate the fact the you can't use headphones and speakers at the same time. You need to unplug your headphones to unmute the speakers.
Wonder if a firmware update could fix that...
@@GetOffset I doubt it 😞

@@GetOffset hope you're right! Other than that, it's a pretty solid interface.
Use Bluetooth speakers n switch from toolbar/swipedown

Unfortunately no batteries and no other charging option, but I filmed this a bunch of times and it barely dinged my battery.
Where did you down load the software package onto you iPad.. you didn’t show that
It was just an app from the app store IIRC
