Do they auto seal. So you can leave line pressurized while swapping. I couldn't tell but it sounded like maybe you had pressure in the lines.
Yes they do. You won’t need to turn the bottles off to disconnect. Very similar to an air compressor quick connect.
How long you been having those reels and how you like them

You can not cross hookup. They are entirely different fitting styles.
