I can tell you that our EXT models will accomodate the lefties. If you're interested, you can see more about them here: www.allamericansharpener.com/updates/ext
You are too late telling me this! I already found you bought TWO of your most excellent "jigs". The work GREAT. I prefer the one that allows different grind angles and both standard and left hand blades.
You don't wear gloves. It can potentially get caught on the grinding stone and pull your hand in.This guy is so unsafe. Look at 5:20 mark. He almost gets his shirt sucked into the machine. This has to be the worst safety video I have ever watched.
@@toyminator24the video clearly says don't grind to a sharp edge. Also if the blade gets too warm to hold with a bare hand, you should let it cool before continuing.
Are all models reversible? Because that's how I've always sharpened my blades.
My mower has 3 right hand blades and 3 left hand blades. Will the Oregon sharpeners accommodate the lefties?

I don't forget to wear gloves, unbuttoned long sleeve shirt, baggy clothing and a very long necklace
When sharpening gator blades, do i need to sharpen the gators themselves or can i just sharpen the blade?? Thanks in advance!
Gator are for airflow and don't actually cut
I would like to see a used blade sharpened using a new blade should be easy
scariest video on the internet
I'd pass on the gloves but I wear a dust mask also, don't want to breathe that crap in for sure.

NO. Never wear gloves when using any grinder. You can loose a finger easier with a glove on than a bare one. Any machinist will tell you that.
I certainly agree with that. Of course, these companies try to idiot proof all equipment but in this case you are better off without the gloves.
you are holding a razor sharp piece of hot Steel leather gloves are a must.
