Is it wrong to need help ? To feel so totally unable to help one’s self? To let go into love. Why does this terrify me so deeply. I don’t feel love. And I’m not even sure I really truly ever have. Does that make me an evil being? I do-not want to be evil. Nor live in torment. I have tried and tried. So many different things, ways. Only to see I’m a fraud. Spiritually. And worldly. I don’t want to hate myself any more. But I need help. Because I’ve become addicted to it. It’s so crazy. To see that. Then punish myself. Over and over. Mind is so so negative but that’s not really the problem. It’s me. What is it I’m unwilling to see. I don’t know I thought I knew things but I know nothing. Without love I am nothing. Love within. Please love. Show me how to heal. I have lost my way. Please love heal these obstacles I have made by mistake. Please show me how to forgive my own self. So that I may see as you do. I pray for a miracle. If that is selfish I’m so sorry. Yet I still pray for it. No more hell. Please. Help me surrender.
Benjamin, needing help is a basic part of the human condition. In this, you are not alone at all. We are all in this together, despite what we are taught sometimes. Spirit is the ultimate guide out of pain and into love, and sometimes Spirit takes the form of worldly options, too. There are so many resources out there, AND "in there." My hope for you is to believe there must be a better way, AND the fortitude to keep going, and go find it. There are many options for support. May you persevere and go find something that works for you. Surrender will be an inevitable step in that process. Do not worry about the surrender part... you'll encounter that soon enough. Most commonly, it is not recognized beforehand, but after the surrender has just taken place. You'll know it when something in you shifts, for the better. Peace be with you, my friend.
