I’m truly glad to help! I’m curious, how did you decide on which Czerny pieces to practice? During my 5 years of lessons (ages 12-17), my teacher assigned very few of his pieces. My technique is mainly a result of practicing scales and arpeggios. I made lessons for all those. The time you spend practicing difficult Czerny exercises can be spent on Chopin Etudes or Beethoven sonatas, etc.

@@janepianotutorials Reading the message, you are willing and happy to support me, you know! My nose stung because I was so touched. Thank you so much. Yesterday I saw your post that responded to my prayers... I felt like I was in tears. I am extremely grateful. As for the problem of how to decide which song by Czetny to practice, I listened many times to my favorite works and also listened to small passages in 740 and realized there were similarities and I decided to choose them. That same exercise is an exercise to practice finger support. For example, with 365 No.1, I recognize that the two hands run the scale of 8th, 3rd, 6th and semitone. This exercise was extremely necessary for me in Fantaisi Impronptu of Chopin and Rondo Capriccial of Beethoven. 740 No.03 also supports this work quite a lot. I'm still practicing 12 arpeggios on C and similarly going through 6 #... 365 No1 as well as a support exercise for 12 arpeggios on 1 note. As I shared, I did not receive formal training from a young age, so I tried to practice exercises that were similar to the work to help my fingers become more flexible. Besides, I had a stroke nearly 2 years ago, so the sequelae made my fingers unhealthy. Currently, I can play Libestraume No.3, which is a miracle, even though I'm still not fluent. More than a year ago, I couldn't move my hands, but now it's great. I've memorized 2/3 of Rondo Caprccial, wait until I finish studying this lesson and practice Libestraume No 3, I'll Ask someone to record a video and send it to you!. During the learning process, there will probably be silly questions, please point them out for me! I am extremely grateful!

@@janepianotutorials Oh no! Don't admire me, I'm just ordinary. Admire God, who is the Creator who gives me adversity so that I can learn and experience life's lessons full of emotions. That's how I understand. What is passion, effort, self-discipline, etc. I know God saw that I was lacking in these points and He put me in a blind situation to learn and experience. If given me a dream, I wish I could be like you. If in exchange for the light in my eyes... I choose to become like you. Until now, I still silently thank God for giving me blindness so that I can be what I am now.

Hello Jane, thank you, I like your tutorials and use some of them to slowly learn a piece, however many/ if not most of your recordings sound as if the recording level is too high, resulting in that scratching noise of digital distortion which is quite unpleasant. If you cannot regulate the input level, maybe you could just increase the distance between the microphone(s) and iano? A non distorted sound would sound more relaxed.

Thank you for your feedback and for using my tutorials! I appreciate your suggestion regarding the audio quality. The distortion you're hearing is likely due to the limitations of my current setup, including an older camcorder and editing software on a Windows 7 PC (yikes!). Since my tutorials are mainly for visual note-checking rather than audio enjoyment, I recommend turning down your audio volume to minimize the unpleasant distortion. The important part is seeing which fingers hit the notes, and the audio isn't necessary for that purpose. I hope this helps, and I appreciate your understanding. Happy practicing!
