    This song reminds me of my late bro at 77 Artillery Batallion Mariakani Barracks 🇰🇪. He was selected for a peace keeping mission to Sierra Leone. We danced to this song the night before they left for Nairobi to fly to Sierra Leone. That was the last time we saw him alive. He was killed there doing the job he loved most.

    Koffi, Awilo, Extra musica, Magic system, Papa wemba, thank you all for making my childhood a lovely one to always remember because I can still sing this songs even though I don't know what they are singing or the meaning of the songs.

    Koffi has and will always be my favorite Congolese musician of all time. This is the album that literally taught me the mastery of Congolese sebene on bass back in those days in the 90's as a kid back in Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 Congo to the world!!! 🇨🇩🇨🇬🇨🇩🇨🇬

    Ndombolo is infectious dance and the 90's was when Koffi was untouchable. Him and Quatier Latin created some classics that made everyone think they could dance lol. Koffi is truly talented.

    J'aime beaucoup Koffi . Je suis même allée le voir se produire au CICES, à dakar au Sénégal . Ce fût un très beau concert.
    Quand j'étais à Michigan , j'habitais avec une femme dénommée Mamie Jeanne c'était une ressortissante de son pays . C'était elle qui nous avait, annoncé qu'il était atteint du sida. J'espère qu'il se soigne bien . J'ai revu un de ses clips récemment , il avait l'air de bien aller .
    Moi même j'ai eu à travailler pour AfricaSo, une ONG, d'action de lutte contre le sida et je souhaiterais qu'il se rapproche de ce genre de structure afin de faire partager son expérience et d'être mieux encadre, parce qu'il sera en contact avec des gens qui partagent cette maladie avec lui.
    Koffi , tu es une strar, tout le monde t'aime et tu nous as fait partagé des moments de joie intenses et je serais heureuse de t'aider même si c'est avec une information de ce genre . Je t'aime . Prends soin de toi . Rose AZIZ depuis dakar au Sénégal .

Ça fait plus de 30 ans que la rumeur circule que Koffi est atteint du sida, mais curieusement sa femme Aliyah se porte bien, sa fille DIDI STONE qui est ambassadrice de l'OREAL se porte bien également.     Born & brought up in a Maasai Nomadic lifestyle in Kenya where age determined your assignment & it happened that early 90s was my time to look after calves of the cows.....i lost calves dancing to this song & the beating i received that evening eissshhhh.....
